You think Riot has the man power to fix that? They're just a billion dollar company bro. Gotta use that to make new cursors

Which are also atrocious and look ridiculous when highlighting stuff.

That cursor update was good though

And fuck up minimap when you have locked camera on. Thanks for the new mouse pointer that no one wanted though!

That's been bothering me too. When pressing accept, there is no reason for the animation not to minimize to the side panel, replacing the queue timer.

But oh no, it have to steal the focus AND overlap chat, rune screen, the store - everything.

Runes change is being worked on, according to Meddler.

Title change might have more work under the hood than is obvious. It's been the way it worked for a good long while, but I doubt it's high on the priority list as it's a minor annoyance that doesn't affect anything in game.

It didn't work this way in the old queue system. When someone declined you at LEAST got control of your screen back even if you didn't go back into the queue right away.

Actually there is plenty reason to wait, gives time for people who are not afk to stay in que, people who don't want to que time to press decline, and people who time out are kicked for afk.

wait what ?

gives time for people who are not afk to stay in que

what's that suppose to mean ? the queue animation can just go away and you'd still be in queue, i have no idea what that even means

people who don't want to que time to press decline

someone already declined, you can just cancel queue when you're back to lobby if you don't feel like playing.

I think he is talking about the people who are timed out(doing whatever they are doing and being afk) wouldn't be in queue anymore. So if there was 3 people who found a match (you, 1 who declined, and 1 who afk), if there was a wait(and someone declined), it would kick both of them out of queue and keep you in queue, instead if you get put back into queue if someone already declined, the person who is afk is in queue, meaning the afk and you found a match and you would have to wait longer since the afk hasn't came back. Also, you would have to press accept twice. I think that is what he/she is trying to say.

(A short version if it makes sense) If someone declined and everyone else get sent back into queue, afk people would still be in queue. Since if someone decline and the afk remain afk for the whole duration of queue(plus you got to be sent back to queue and you would waste extra time with the afk)
The animation wait is to sweep the afk and decline in one sweep. Explained version of what he/she is trying to say.

There is a reason; so others can decline if they so wish as well, and weed out the afks.

What I hate about that stupid animation that youre talking about is half the time im trying to start a game and someone leaves, it's when they decline, the other half is when they dodge in champ select. I mean, do people queue up for a game of league of legends BEFORE deciding on what they want to do next? It seems like people make up their minds when lol finds a team as if queuing up for a game of lol helps them think.

DragonIgnis2 votes

The wait is there for all 20 people in the queue to be accounted for.

If 1 person declines and the other 19 haven't clicked a button yet, it'd be confusing for them to be suddenly sent back into queue.

The waiting period allows for afks and declines to be kicked out of queue while accepts are put into queue again.

Trust me, the queue animation should stay the way it is now, it's supposed to lump all the decliners/afkers together in one go. Imagine having your matchmaking declined twice/thrice in a row just because the next decliner didn't get to decline first. That'd make queues worse than they are now.

The Soulforged2 votes

I think it's to catch everyone that's afk. But if you accepted, it would make more sense to immediately end it.

Nalisai1 votes

Umm, first part yeah, second part, you mean it should auto-save when you make changes? If so, I agree, but they'll never do it or there'd be no reason to buy runes pages, really.

Bob the Toastr7 votes

Fairly certain he's talking about swapping secondary page runes, where it uses FIFO swapping instead of swapping the one you click on

I agree .. waste more time... but you know.. RIOT main focus is MORE SKINS = MORE $$$

Look at rank = same issues every year - toxic/feeders/afkers/laggers/ragers/over 100-1000 ping players/people with less skill than my daughters 6week old cat

Sees title [someone is proposing a change to something in LoL] BUT THE POTENTIAL FOR ABUSE IS TOO HIGH! [nailed it...]

The Space Cowboy1 votes

I think by letting the animation end they can weed out additional afks. If we ended on the first decline we would have even more attempts to join a lobby.
