So, you know there's no point in complaining about the BE system, right?
Assuming you get lucky (which you won't), you earn BE about as fast as you earn IP, potentially even a little faster when you get lucky.
Now, the important part is how it's all perceived. With the old IP system, you could gradually work towards something, and you could see your progress, so you hype yourself up and keep farming. With the new BE system, it's like a loot box from Overwatch or something, and you have to hope you get lucky and get enough BE -- and what happens if you're like 5 BE short for something after leveling? Well, a lot of people are going to just go and buy RP and/or a leveling boost, which is what Riot wanted all along.
My guess is that Tencent said, "Make more money" and Riot tried to find an easy way to do it without pissing off too many players.
So, there's really no reason to complain, because it's not going anywhere. The boards are ~2-4% of the population according to a Rioter, and the overwhelming majority of people that play really don't give a fuck about anything, and just take whatever shit Riot throws at them. So you'll be ignored for criticizing a system that deserves to be criticized, and Riot will continue milking the oblivious assholes that contributed to the death of quality gaming.
That's just how companies work now though.
