ADC's build it for the utility. Xayah, Jhin, Lucian etc. all have Mana problems and a lack of utility. Trynd? he just rights clicks you and also has no utility problems. Its just a waste of a slot.

Again, you build it for cdr. Your passive grants you crit so as your rage fills, you get more cdr for your other spells.

They just don't understand, they see one not efficient stat on it and call building it trolling.

To people that are downvoting OP: ER is really good on Tryndamere as it gives him AD, crit chance and CDR which means that it enhances his crit damage due to more AD, makes his damage output less RNG based and reduces cooldown of his spells greatly increasing his sustain due to Q being up more often, escape potential and stickiness due to E being more often (cooldown itself and crit having more chance to be applied). High elo Tryndamere mains are building it look at BoxerPete, Syfirbel or Fogged (Diamond 1, Master and Challenger players).

There's ALOT of better items to use than essence reaver tho, theres Death dance, BC etc. People don't understand why you use it cause essence reaver is mainly used for mana furnace champions that just shovel mana into their skills and toss it out like its free candy on christmas. They don't understand why you get the item because thats its main purpose and they dont see it any other way.

Don't worry about what other people think is good or bad, most people are absolutely clueless when it comes to optimal builds or why certain items are good or not. The majority of people in this game are sheep and until they catch up they think something is dumb or useless but then quickly jump on board when it becomes more normal as if they always knew it was good.

I been playing Trynd a bit lately and that item is incredible honestly, although mana is no problem, that CD helps so damn much especially on his spin
