Consider your elo while making a situation of a champion

If you are trying to make a situation to describe a champions weakness or strengths you can't just use your gameplay as factual evidence such as "well I think nasus is really good at winning games because he always beats my toplaners and 1 shots my carries"

in reality nasus is a good toplaner and can carry games but not to the effect of always winning toplane and 1 shotting your carries, that doesn't happen at a higher elo as much as it happens at a lower one.

Just giving an example......

elo doesn't really have much to do with theorycrafting. i'm unranked, i hate playing ranked, the pressure of it. but i was telling people eve was a tank 3 years ago. I was arguing with people that irelia was a better version of zin xhao a month after her release before she recieved her first nerf. riot's made targeted nerfs specifically to my playstyles before they ever even penetrate the pro meta. so with all due respect and kindness, shove off.

the recent ryze remake was at least partially done so nobody ever even got a hint that blue-build ryze was an actual thing, a thing that destroyed worlds.

just giving an example.

You don't need to be extremely good at a game to understand how it works. There's no reason you can't apply reason and logic to a topic rather than basing everything solely on personal experience.

There are flaws to both approaches, of course.

For example, a champion might be extremely badly designed and almost universally hated, but a certain diamond player has no problem with that champion because they happen to main a champion who is really strong against the problem champion.

On the other hand, pure theorycrafting has its own problems. A champion's kit might seem extremely overpowered on paper, but when actually played in game you realise that the champion has enough weaknesses or counterplay to balance out those strengths.
