People are complaining about "Boosters" with the new dynamic queue

but it was a huge problem in the original solo queue since forever. Don't act like its a new problem the dynamic queue brought up.

It was always possible to do and therefore a problem but it wasn't actually built into the system the way it is now and matchmaking wasn't anywhere near the complete joke it is now as a result. It's always been a cause of toxicity, but literally everyone who plays this game is going to horrifically toxic by the end of season 6 if the unmitigated disaster continues.

it wasn't AS bad as this new mode tho. With this new mode, you can literally get 2 high level players to group with you, (making you a 3 man) and be able to carry just about any bad player. For instance, say you have a gold grouping with a couple of high diamonds. that golds trek through gold is a lot easier.

Now, you can have one high level diamond, group with a gold, who's grouped with a bronze, get into a game that's in the silver mmr range, and have that high diamond player basically give that bronze player a free win, while still increasing his LP by at minimal 10 per match they win. Sure, the losses would lose a ton, but since this high diamond is playing in a silver mmr, his skill plus the gold players skill should be able to carry games by themselves.

I've actually been the victim of this type of boosting because when I check the players in my game out from the league site, at least a couple of players in the games that I have lost have been low diamond.. Low diamond, in a gold 5/high silver mmr game..

For one thing, you cant group with gold if you are diamond.

Diamond and higher can only group with people 2 tiers from them. Dia 5 ( can group with plat 2,1 or dia 4,3)

You cant group with a Plat (as a diamond) if they are grouped with a gold.

Before you could get boosted by duoing with 1 smurf. Now you can get boosted by duoing with 4 smurfs. As in, you can get boosted very much more easily than before, and thus it really does become much more of a problem than before.

Doubt it lol. There are more restrictions in dynamic queue than the original solo queue.

A large % of Plat 5 and Diamond 5 are boosted people who payed for it so they could get that shiny border for the end of the season. A majority of them simply get people on their accounts directly and play the matches for them.

Yes and people are using the new dynamic queue as a excuse for boosters. There for, I doubt dynamic queue increased the number of boosters.
