i still dont understand morde Q and spellvamp

why is spellvamp 33% ( 1/3 of actual healing form spell vamp) if since rework is like xin Q ,hitting one target or another but one at a time and not AOE.

gunblade or wota would make more sense.

enlighten me ,RIOT GODS OF BALANCE.
