Quickdraw Stack limit increased to 8 from 4. NEW EFFECT: Now grants 2 stacks if you dash toward an enemy champion. Resistances per stack reduced to 5 / 7.5 / 10 / 12.5 / 15 from 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30.

basically graves has to dash towards enemies ,to get same resists as he got from dashing away/kiting

so why does get full shield when dashing towards BUT ESPECIALLY RUNNING AWAY??? 4S SHIELD

riven should get half shield when running and full towards enemy only.

Because you have to be a NASCAR driver in order to escape efficiently as Sion and so he deserves to yell whatever he wants.

It also takes balls to smash into a wall like that.

Have you ever considered, that when Sion ults away from something, it´s mostly an huge disadvantage for him, like a 5 man gank? I mean, those enemys MUST BE COWARDS to fight Sion in such an cowardish unfair uneven fight. That´s why Sion yells "Coooowaaards!" while ulting away. It´s completly fine. :)

I don't see why they just don't get rid of her animation canceling in totality.

This is, what, only the 4th or so time that Riven had a game-breaking bug related to the so-called "skill-indexed mechanic"?

It's absurd that they let her unintended design continue when Riot has been pushing in the opposite direction for multiple seasons now.

i saw the video it doesnt even canel cc its like how ezreal can e away but still feels the effect of the cc after his arcane shift

Ez E is a blink and riven's is a dash Blinks will always go through no matter wat, unless you die. Dashes dont.

tldr fuck riven idc if she still feels the effects, it shouldn't happen

dashes do to with only yasuo's as the exception. Trist can also escape blitz grab with her jump if she times it correctly, pretty sure any dash can :P

Trist only works that way because there's a wind up animation, which can never be canceled. If blitz gets her at any point during the actual dash, she ain't escaping

yeah exactly, the riven dashes in that video are perfectly timed to do that just like the ez E and trist jump. That is exactly what I meant. As for the dashes ignoring CC, it's true except for displacement spells, I forgot to mention that. Dashes can get interrupted by any knockup or pull, but if you stunned them during the dash, it won't apply until after the dash is done.

Because dashing backwards can be used to set-up with Riven. She's high mobility and can make plays that don't include "Dash into their face with E, then hit them until they die". The nerf would be unnecessary and would punish creative Riven plays.

Ok, let me be more specific:

There are only two or three combos that achieve slightly different things in their execution but ultimately the same thing.

Let's take another combo champ: Ryze

Let's say your enemy is immobile and melee. E-Q is a standard, but if they are someone with a MS boost or something you can adapt a W before your E for nice harass. If your enemy happens to be extremely dangerous when not CC'd at the range you're attacking them, you can E-W and Q for the reset.

Combos? E-Q, W-E-Q, or E-W-Q for just one type of champion.

Mobile champ? E-W-Q if their mobility isn't instant, W-E-Q if instant mobility, etc.

This is from a champion with 3 simple abilities. He has more combos than a champ who weaves in autos in her combos (and no, alterations of pressing Q at different intervals should not count as a combo since that is simply permutation).

I can give better examples, but I want to see what you say first.

Honestly, i don't think reduceing that shielf then dashing away is a good idea. In her most annoying cases, i makes no difference, and else she actually needs it for in combat jukes+survivabilltiy in teamfights. I'd prefer her to get her Q travel range cut in half or even less when not dashing towards enemies. The thin that annoys me the most then faceing riven is how much ground she can cover to escape any gank attempts.

Riven's shield isn't supposed to be her all in thing, any good riven will save their shield as an escape in order to trade effectively unless they're 100% sure they can kill whoever they're going to dash into.

not a dash as in can't cross over bigger walls. but the distance it covers still makes a broken escape on pretty much no cooldown.

if you combine all of her q's it eaquals the range of a normal dash but takes like 3 times as long. .. even her e is a really short dash.

Exactly. I don't know why people aren't comprehending it. But the main post of my first reply above was that her Q's don't count as dashes unless you use all 3, losing a lot of damage/animation cancels.
