@Morello can we talk about the death of bruisers in top lane?

Right now if you ban Irelia you ban the entire bruiser playstyle. That's messed up.

Can we see some Sion top buffs? 3 health for small minions? Can Jax be buffed back from the worst champion in the game? Can Shyvana get some help? Can Mundo get some help with his 0% winrate at worlds? Darius, Yorick, Gangplank, Olaf? Trundle, Warwick (top), Xin Zhao?

Also, can we all admit that the more counterplay a melee has the less competitive they are? As seen with the Trundle/Olaf/Sion reworks.

Surely at least we could buff SV to make up for the nerfs which effect practically every bruiser until level 16 while 80% of them never even reach 20 HP/5. Maybe finally see an armor/AD item? Maybe Sunfire can get some buffs to get some late game power? Give sunfire 20 more armor but cost 300 more? You can think of something.

Maybe Darius can gain 4 armor per level and have his two E nerfs removed? Anything broham.

Implying he is wrong.

Fiora isn't a bruiser by the way and neither are Riven or Zed.

The only other champion that can qualify as viable is J4 and that's it. Everything else is nullified as soon as ranged autoattacks enter the laning phase. And he will also have to sacrifice quite some cs as well, so to what extent it's worth in the end is questionable.

As of the Olaf buffs JAx maintains lowest winrate at high ELO.

Is this not common knowledge?

Can you show me where you are getting that information from? From the monthly data on Lolking, he doesn't have anywhere near the lowest winrate in Diamond or Challenger, even if we're just looking at bruisers. I'm not certain that you're correct there. If you do have a better source of info, I'd appreciate seeing it.

The most important aspect of a champion being competitively viable is how reliable they are. If a champion is super unreliable, but has big pay-offs, chances are you're never going to see them over safer picks.

Every champion you listed falls somewhere between 'fine' and 'good' in the solo queue spectrum.

No one gives a shit about competitive play when ti comes to bruisers because they are brain numbingly boring to watch. Right now they are plenty strong in solo queue though so have fun using them if that's your cup of tea.
