Many click to win abilities should be turned into skillshots

why? because easy game mechanics are lame and cheesy.

generally speaking, most click to win abilities would need extra range and possibly other small tweaks to compensate.

examples alphabetically: -annie q -elise q(needs buff especially) -fiddlesticks q -gangplank q -kassadin q -katarina q(can still bounce off first target hit) -kayle q -leblanc q -lee sin r(yup) -malphite q -malzahar r(I don't know how but it this needs to be less cheese) -nasus w -nunu e -pantheon q -ryze w -shaco e(good range buff to compensate) -sona q(rework this horrible cheese) -taric e -teemo q -vayne e -zed r

yes, I'm aware if all of these changed without proper balance it would probably break the game, but that's why they are only examples, and other variables would be to be considered and adjusted accordingly before any changes occur.

If you remove all of the point-and-click abilities, then who will be left to deal with the champions who have hyper-mobility?

I like playing a mix of both skillshot champions and point and click champions, but if Veigar is anything to go off of, turning a point and click into a skillshot is absolutely horrible, and will likely ruin the gameplay patterns available to the champion.

Plus, like Nameless Voice said, targeted abilities are great to deal with mobility champions.

If Riot converts all auto attacks into Skillshots, then you might have an argument for needing to change every point and click into a skill shot. Until then, don't worry too much about it.

eehh, point and click is great vs high mobility because it's sooo freaking easy peasy.

remove the crutch, force players to try harder, they'll adapt.

Kalista would love those changes

You do realise point and click has lower range and can't not used to shoot something that isn't visible AND in range right? Not to mention they tend to have longer cd.

Unlike skill shots where you pew pew pew muh skillz yeaaaaaaaaaaaa, hit or miss doesn't matter because sooner or later it will hit.

Removing point and click would make mobility broken, which it already is today anyway.

So no.

If you want a shooter, please go play a shooter. There is no need to turn LoL into one piss low grade top down shooter for no apparent reason. We need certainties in this game.

EDIT: I actually agree Lee's R should be changed into a skill shot of some description, because let's be real, his R has exactly 0 counterplay. Outsmart him completely by baiting it out will still give him an edge over you, since you're still miles away from him so he can always disengage and come back 1 min later to have it back up again. That's pure BS of a skill if you ask me.

Did you realize that most point and clicks are extremely low range and require vision, meaning it is easy to outplay with bushes or walls?

Dont buff mobility creep even more, holy shit people REALLY think we should remove point and click spells while there are champions like kalista in this game? Holy moly, no words for this.
