There's no reason Riot should expect new players to enjoy and continue the game when they don't even bother to make tutorials that give basic game knowledge.
It was hard enough learning the game in 2012 with a friend showing it to me. I can't imagine how much worse it is to attempt it alone. This isn't the kind of game you can learn from scratch by playing.

The Ecdysiast1 votesWell, for anyone who attempted to start playing and left because the game was too hard and/or they were flamed for not knowing the kinds of things a tutorial should teach, it's effectively never no matter when they finish it.
