How the fuck is that 1 man army illaoi fucking balanced

She presses R, you run, shes useless next team fight

She's balanced the way Yi, Garen and several others are balanced.

That is to say, not at all.

Riot has issues to the point that it's getting extremely difficult to take them seriously as a game developer.

She is completely useless outside of laning phase. Thats why her laning is so oppresive.

If you fight her near her tentacles, she is.

Because she's easy to beat unless you're braindead and try to fight inside of her ult. When she ults, just run, seriously, she will kill both you and your jungler if you try to fight her in it.

She can't fight anyone if she doesn't have time to set up her tentacles, making her useless outside of laning (unless of course you try to fight in her ult, then you will die).

Illaoi has to be one of the easiest champs to counter.. Her Q is massively telegraphed so in a 1v1 it is pretty easy to dodge or hit her w/ a stun or something while she starts her animation lock. Hide behind creeps to block e.. She ults you run... Pretty useless champ unless you are playing vs a bunch folks that don't get it. Sure, it can happen but most games where folks know whats up, she doesn't do that much at all..

Secret to fighting her early game. DEATHS DANCE AND NINJA TABI. Thats it thats all. If she ults, just leave.

Disengage when ults.

Kite her.

CC her.

Dodge her still shots/tentacles.

Grevious wounds.

So i hear youre having problems vs ilaoi, how about some hard engage on her the INSTANT she lands an e on you, e aa w tiamat aa q aa e and maybe ignite, if youve been taking out her tentacles without getting poked, you cancel her e pretty much instantly, as long as you do that you out damaged her, also dodge her q during this or she still wins. if she ults, back off. plenty of other champs can cancel her e too, just look at some of their abilities and figure it out.
