Netorare14 votesThere was no point in giving yasuo a windwall when he already has his mobility on E, but yea it's just riot having no idea what they are doing. (riot should stop giving all champions mobility, just because you're an assassin that doesn't mean you must have bullshit ways of escaping everytime, just because you are an adc that doesn't mean you should have mobility when you have the range advantage etc)

Nowadays, Assassins like Yasuo can just stroll up to the entire enemy team, get into range with spammable mobility, make themselves invulnerable with a wall, delete all the squishies with two Qs, and then shred the tanks with insane armor penetration in a CC ultimate.

But unlike most games, he is an Assassin who does that burst damage onto the entire team. With protection. And an easy escape tool.

DemainaNyx6 votesThe problem is that lower elo players don't understand that. If Jax dives into the enemy team, he whines "no follow up" despite him popping Righteous Glory and running halfway across the map to get that 4 man stun.
In lower elo, your engage will go in and never come out, and then they blame the ranged champion for not helping.
I had a game as Zyra where the entire enemy team was near red side blue buff in that river choke and I landed a 3 man snare on Katarina, Jhin, and Soraka into WWQ ult before running back around the wall to get to the rest of my team (i was clearing the minions before the fight started while they were getting blue). While I ran around the wall, the enemy Katarina got a triple kill despite her having 200 hp from all my effort, and I got spam pinged for being full HP and "not doing anything."
Certain things only work if the whole team understand them.

If the options that would lead to a win are present, but players make poor decisions and choose not to take those options, the balance team doesn't need to make changes: the players needs to improve.
If a Yi gets hit by Morg Q in a teamfight and dies, the solution isn't "Nerf Morg", it's "Yi buy QSS".
If Riven goes in 1v5 and dies instantly, the solution isn't "Buff Riven" or "Nerf the enemy" or "Rito plz fix matchmaking", it's "Don't be stupid".
btw a 3 man root is something your team should be clamoring to follow up on so I feel your pain at their incompetence.
DemainaNyx4 votesOh no, I completely agree that you don't nerf a champion when you obviously walk into their win condition, it's just that people like to blame things on others when there was nothing they could do.
People will say "MF did no damage that fight," because Yasuo put up a wall. Yeah, she cast R and got off 3 waves before Yasuo walled it, saw the wall, stopped it, and tried to get an angle to help but couldn't because the enemy top laner was too close for her to walk through the wall. So instead she walks back and gets blamed for "no damage" when her frontline dies.
In that case, MF's frontline needs to kite back with her, cause she can't help them where they are until the wall goes down. Instead, they just stay in the fight and blame. Without the whole team knowing you need to kite, people will do the same thing over and over and blame it on Yasuo's wall as OP. Yeah, it has counterplay, but a lot of it requires the whole team to know how to counterplay it, not just the MF in this case. Yeah, she probably shouldn't ult until he uses his wall, but that's a different story.

It's not. Unless Yasuo takes 70% of the damage and I'm not aware of it. Braum throwing up a wall doesn't stop a Jinx rocket from killing him. Yasuo's windwall stops a Jinx and Lux ult together.

DemainaNyx9 votesBraum takes the damage though after the first hit, so it isn't completely negated. If MF ults and Braum blocks it, he will not be full health after it. Not to mention that Braum is a support who's purpose is supporting his team by stopping damage with Armor or his shield or stuns.
Fiora's W, Kayle's R, and Irelia's W only do stuff for themselves/one person, not the whole team.
Taric ult is the only thing that blocks for his whole team, and it's his ultimate. So you're basically saying that Yasuo's Windwall is equivalent to an ultimate.
