Zed's and Talon's passive

As far as thematics/descriptions/skill names are concerned. Wouldn't it fit more if they had each other's passive?

Zed - Contempt for the weak: deals %hp dmg on next AA to targets under 50%. Passive idea/theme is that Zed hates weakling and tries to remove them from sight quickly

Talon - Mercy: Deals +10% on AAs to targets who are CCd (specifically and limited to slowed, stunned, suppressed, immobilised [binds]). Passive idea/theme is in reference to "Mercy Killing", killing something quickly so as to end it's suffering.

Now, it seems that Zed's definition of "weak" is rather limited, and Talon is a guy who wont mess around and finish things quickly...unless you have 10% hp, in which case, tough luck, die slowly. It just feels like the execute makes more sense as a mercy killing technique, and the requirements for Talon's passive give a broader definition of weakness (one who's succumbed to another's power, via stuns, slows, suppression etc), as opposed to, hey you're nearly dead.

This isn't to say I want them swapped, that'd be terrible for both of their balance states, just something I felt like pointing out

talons passive in general is very underwhelming.

wasn't really the point of post but unfortunately..... you're right :/

No, it makes no sense. Zed passive name and effect fit him perfectly. He executes the weak, because he has contempt for them. Talon passive in general is just garbage until late game for wonder 1 shots.

You're just reading off tooltips and arguing gameplay, when that is not the point of the post. THEMATICALLY, their passives make more sense when switched.

No, thematically they don't make sense when switched. When has Talon executed anyone in his theme or lore?

Sinister Mars1 votes

Presumably, all the time. He is an assassin, after all.

That proves you don't know what mercy killing is. Mercy Killing is literally EXECUTING SOMEONE who is already dying slowly as a way of ending their suffering. And what, Zed hates weak people so he executes them? I missed that part in the lore. If anything, TALON has more thematic justification for an execute than Zed.

Talon didn't mercy kill anyone in his lore you troll. Zed destroyed the entire Kinkou order because of their weakness and decapitated their leader. Contempt for the Weak and execute passive fits Zed 10 times more than Talon. Stay salty.

I don't have the mental patience to deal with this level of ignorance simply because you're a Zed main

http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Talon/SkinsTrivia Scroll down til you find the part about his passive

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercy_killing

And finally http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/contempt

Hopefully that's enough. Educate yourself.

You didn't refute anything I said, I play both Zed and Talon . Zed passive fits him more than Talon. Lore is part of a champions theme. Zed's contempt for the weak is what caused him to execute the followers and master of the kinkou order. ("Balance is weakness") You are just salty, stay salty.

My god you're a bigot. It never once explicitly says Zed killed any of the members of that Order. It says he and the Leader went inside, Zed came out with his head, it was written in a way deliberately designed to be ambiguous. He then orders his clan to destroy the kinku, and makes no mention of he himself interacting. Now talon has no such indication of executions in his lores either, but his passive is a reference to a form of execution, whereas Zeds simply means what it say: he doesn't like weakness.

Don't comment again or I'll report you for harassment, you've clogged this pointless chain too much already and I'm sick of it, you've made inaccurate statements supported with flawed evidence, and have disproven none of mine, then you call me salty. I'm sick of talking with you. I'm sick of having to educate you. I'm sick of reading the mess you've made with a comment that was rude and based solely on your opinion.

What a stupid idea. Mercy killing makes sense as it is, cc'd targets are weakened so Talon does more damage to them to kill them faster.

So someone slowly bleeding out at 9% health is better off than a guy at 99% health walking on a patch or ground that just had some arrows shot in it (Varus E)?
