Ryze's Realm Warp

Ryze's ultimate feels horribly out of place in his kit. His forte is moving quickly around the battlefield and dealing consistent damage. Realm Warp should aid in performing this task, but in its current form it can not. Simply put, Ryze should be encouraged to use his ultimate in combat. If there was one change that could make this possible it would be to make Realm Warp cast at maximum radius (if ryze is too far from the target location) instead of waiting for Ryze to walk within the cast range.

At the moment, assuming Ryze is roughly in the center of the players screen (ie. in combat with another player), casting Realm Warp at the bottom or top of the screen to disengage is incredibly ineffective. This is because by the time Ryze finishes casting, the enemy can simply run to the location Ryze is expected to appear. Using the map scroll to select the maximum range ends up "wasting precious time" that could be used in combat.

This forces Ryze to disengage by using his ult on the mini-map. However, if the indicator happens to be outside the casting range, Ryze will attempt to run within the target radius to begin channeling, and this will often lead to Ryze being killed. I find this mistake to be especially prominent and dangerous when Realm Warp is at its lower ranks.

Instead, Realm Warp should cast to the location closest to the cursor on the mini-map from whatever location Ryze currently resides.

I agree with this, it follows the same kind of logic that many of the ground targeted skills have been getting these days and would increase the functionality of the ability by a ton.

Maybe rito should just rework him again and give him a new ultimate, this ultimate feels like it doesn't match rest of his kit thematically and gameplay wise.
