Buff dragon to the point where it matters again.

First drag is the only one you should contest, and same goes for 5th but if a team gets 5th consider the game finished.

Can we make it give global gold or actually give us noteworthy buffs?

Movespeed buff is huge tactical advantage; others are good too to win more.

The change to dragon was made to prevent me from soloing it at lvl 4 and giving team gold advantage. Now drake is optional and serves to secure winning trend. I tried soloing it early and it set me back too far in gold and levels for minuscle buff.

thing is, people can solo it at level 2 / 4 / 5 / 6 now.

and it doesn't matter past the first one, and even if u get 1st drag that early on, 6% of your ad / ap is soooo small early in the game you cant even notice it.

why are people downvoting, this guy is 100% correct.

the only time you should ever be contesting drag is when your team is actually stronger and can win the fight. drag is worth so little that a turret is worth more, and the stronger team usually gets drag from then on. 2nd and 4th drag don't even offer combat stats, its literally better to let the enemy team have those and just push down turrets.

consider 2 teams, 1 4 turrets up and 1 4 drags up, the team with 4 turrets is going to win since with gold advantage they will get the rest of the dragons.

All the buffs are really nice, though. Extra damage to minions is great for pushing, extra damage to towers is great for securing objectives, and the movement speed boost is really nice for junglers and to dodge skillshots. 5% may not seem like a lot, but there is a reason some junglers run movement speed quints

none of them are contest worthy except the 5th.

That imo is a big problem.

As a jungler, I disagree. It really depends on the circumstances (like top shouldn't leave lane the second the fight starts), and how you're warding it.

If you can contest it (you've been warding, you see the jungler getting scuttlebug), you can try to catch someone out before they're positioned, and also force a teamfight without any turrets or minions as protection. If you're ahead, and you win the teamfight, you don't just get dragon, you're one step closer to winning the game.

It's also about pressure. If you let the enemy team get dragon without punishing them whatsoever (taking towers, counterjungling, warding their jungle, etc), you're letting them get a step closer to winning the game. They'll know you're not contesting them for dragon. They're more likely to sneak a Baron kill in.

Would dragon buffs getting buffed be nice? Sure. But I think it's relatively balanced for the perks it already gives (15% extra damage to turrets? Yes please!)

5% movespeed is around a 20 ms buff, give or take depending on your own. That's huge. That's like, a whole new tier of boots, huge.

you're too narrow minded

If you got all the dragon buffs & still loses, it's obvious you just suck. Js
