Just played 3 fiora games in ranked at ~plat elo
Shes kinda broken...
Im ready for the downvotes.

They massively overbuffed her. I don't even know if she needed a buff, but she sure didn't need one that massive.
she didnt need the buff and her true damage is insanely broken
She isn't buffed yet men the buff is coming next patch :P the current version you are playing/playing against is pre buff, she's going to be even stronger

No, actually. They hotfixed the buffs in with the Yasuo and Frost Queen's bugfixes.
I knew she was broken from the get go rito always jumps the gun
yeah true damage benefits a lot from botkr, hydra and or ad stacks...
thormail is no longer counting her anymore... ;\
be prepare for next patch.. fiora will be very strong top laner...
I mean I have played 10 games on her so far and haven't lost any yet so...
Though I did manage to win against her as Taric top and then proceed to get a pentakill that game, but thats just cuz Taric is secretly the master of all things and can destroy whomever he chooses.
You should try Taric jungle man. Hella fun.

Outrageous
Yeah I would have to agree they buffed way to much stats. They really should have given it a week or so before throwing giant buffs like that into her.
I really hope they take time nerfing her so she doesn't get over nerfed like with her buffs. Just wait a week or two is all I'm asking so people can start finding out how to play against her and see if she is OP then nerf if its needed.
This reminds me a lot about Gnars release. I thought he was trash from the PBE. He hits live is trash. Then got over buffed to be OP. Then got nerfed into a semi balanced state.
"Fiora is weak! OMG RITO PLZ"
I've heard the same things for Gnar Kallista Yasuo Lucian Azir
Then the community realizes how to play them at a point and Riot's pity buffs come in a day later. Then cancer happens.
This ^.
But she has so much counterplay.
(1) Back off if you have a vital point facing her, and go into the fog of war and then come back. The vital point will be reset.
(2) The range of her dash and her ult are short. Don't get into her very short range. Her engage pontential is low, but her sticking potential is high, so make sure she can't get close enough.
(3) Don't duel her 1v1 and force teamfights. She is designed to 1v1 people, but in teamfights she can be focused, CC'd and killed very quickly.
(4) Don't aim hard CC at her until she has used her Riposte, or she will smack you in the face with your own CC.
(5) Predict where she will be by looking at your vital point. Chances are, she will move to that side of you. Fire your CC and damage skillshots accordingly.
(6) Deny her from hitting all 4 vitals during her ult by standing next to a wall.
(7) Poke her from range.
I haven't decided if she's OP or not yet but I just want to argue for the sake of arguing (bouncing ideas, ya know?)
In lane it means losing CS/exp while backing off (or not being in range for 15 seconds) which leads to her cs advantage anyway. Considering she seems to scale so well, that's not a good thing to do either.
As a tank, easy to escape. As a squishy, that short moment of engage is all she needs for the glass cannon build. From personal experience, bruisers I see often build FM, so good luck in getting away from those.
Tryndamere syndrome. Broken or not, that would put her in the same spot as him.
If it was that easy to do, Sivir would be useless. You're predicting her and she is predicting you. Most people fire CC as soon as they're in range and it's off cd though, so it's quite easy to predict on her part, as well as certain predictable combos from some assassin type champs (if you're a Kayle main, this bit is ezpz).
Her ult gives her 4, and those are what count most of the time in an all-in. The lane poke one we already discussed in #1. Her movespeed and dash often makes it hard to avoid unless it's directly behind you.
Interesting point. I concede to that one. However, I also noted that some Fioras don't even need to finish the vitals to kill someone especially if they're glass cannon.
A melee sharing the same weakness of majority of the other melees out there, very surprising? However, a point to note is that they do have their strong points to compensate: If they DO manage to get to you, you're gonna take a lot more damage than you can actually give them. 1 wrong step is all it takes to lose an initial lead in a ranged vs melee.
Backing off to reset the passive is short enough that you don't miss Cs, and Fiora can't win trades without hitting her passive.
I'm not talking about escaping, because Fiora is good at sticking. Just don't get in range in the first place. Yi is worse, since he can close a large gap. Trynd can slow you from range. All Fiora has is close range sticking potential.
Trynd is just dumb, everyone agrees. You can win 1v1 against Fiora if you outplay her, and it's the same thing with Vayne. If you let them dance around you, they will win with true damage, no matter who you are. If you can outplay them, you win.
I can agree with the Riposte comment. That can be hard. Riposte has a difficult timing too though, so that's a mental mind game.

the time is short enough that you don't need to lose cs, when playing fiora I often step back to reset unfavourable vitals (if you get close to other melee early they'll kill you)
most ranged autohits outrange her dash, as melee you can punish her for getting/staying close in lane. Out of lane it overlaps with 3) some champions are naturally good duelists. Contrary to tryndamere you can actually kill her/burst her down (dump everything at once and she'll w, be smart about it). It won't put her in the same spot as she has utility for teamfights, doesn't become unkillable and isn't as random (earlylane crits).
covered in 2)
Well, this is skillbased and mindgames, in teamfights you can usually bait out w and might need to throw a second cc, in a 1v1 it's compensated for by being fairly hard to time, both players have input and have a chance to fail. If you just fire cc whenever that's on you.
if she 1v1's then back off when she ults (not always easy to do, else she'd be useless). if she manages to hit all 4 vitals in a teamfight you were probably out of position or your team hates you.
not surprising, but still a weakness. If melee wouldn't have some sort of advantage over ranged champs in melee range they'd be underpowered. Failing can cause you to lose fights, which isn't surprising. The need to be in melee range makes hitting skillshots earlier, but this is basically the ranged vs melee interactions.
I said this before, and I still stand by it:
Great duelist.
Horrible teamfighter.
Most success I've seen on one was a Fiora that built BT, Ravenous, BoRK, and then the rest tank. Now THAT was absurd.
Here's another upvote.
Rekt.
Win Rate 38.83% in Plat + The old Fiora was something like 50 + winrate... THe new Fiora is broken, confirmed
I shut down a fiora in a game and late game she nearly killed me in half a second, as rumble I had to zhonyas and flash away towards my team or I would have died
(when I say shut down I mean I killed her several times and denied her cs)
You know what they say.
No one farms in lane with a Rumble.

Fiora scales extremely well into late game due to her true damage, It's kind of like Vayne. You can deny her farm and experience and kill her multiple times throughout the game, but she can still 1v5 as soon as she hits full build regardless of how much she fed.
LMAO she was worlds better with her old ulti and her win rates reflect that next plz

Shes better now just much harder to play and the win rates reflect that, gr8 b8 m8.
Yeah, old Fiora players are probably just use to being able to slam your face into the keyboard to 1v5 penta, the new Fiora probably has one of the highest skill bases in the game now.
Her teamfight potential looks horribly bad. No defensive steroids, no burst, no reliable cc, very short dash and ult that can be countered with 1 root or slow.
Her 1v1 seems broken against anybody aside of Jax, Tryn, Kayle, maybe sated Xin or Yi.

What's your point? Buffing her damage and CDR won't help her with that. She's an AD carry.
How late game? Because no matter how hard you shut them down early, once it gets late game everyone is pretty much at an even playing field.

If she kills you in nearly half a second she's most likely full build and you'd have to be glass cannon.
It's just that she's a completely new champion now. Not necessary a different champion, just a much more fleshed out version of what they were originally trying to create. She actually has an high skill floor now, and I think people are still trying to play her as the lvl 2 cheese press-R-to-win champ she used to be.
The outplay potential in her new Riposte in particular is incredible.
New champion with no champion spotlight... Sigh :'(
Her Riposte is cancer? Its a 20 second CD that also roots you.
In half the 1v1's top lane I've played so far you can W an enemy spell and still get out damaged.
Honestly I would be really surprised if her win rates made it over 40% in the next month.
you can block every single spell cast at you over .75 seconds of time.... and if its any form of hard CC you stun aoe in a line....

It only stuns the first champ hit.
She used to be able to dodge most all damage for nearly 5 seconds before, so .75 is a nerf in my eyes.
Before, blade waltz made it so that nothing could be used against her. she was completely un-targetable... But now at least she can be targeted and you can block those spells and abilities if you're good.
Before, if you blade waltz'd and you didn't kill the target you were just gonna get pounced on afterwards.
Shes kinda broken...
Im ready for the downvotes.
What would you say makes her broken?
Her W.
How does that make her broken though, it cc's her for the duration, it's her only defensive skill and doesn't last that long. It's a bit like a spellshield.
Well you see... in higher elos people tend to burst all their moves within .5 seconds. Sooo fiora can block a whole entire zeds combo or an ahris ult e q w combo!
And even more so is if she does block any form of hard cc, she reflects it back to the first person in her Ws line of sight.

I know what people in higher elo's tend to do (I consider plat higher elo). Thing is, this is one champ you might want to play slightly differently against, like fizz. Considering most people burst instantly, try waiting .75sec to burst as she'll waste her w (or bait it with one skill, or just pounce the adc instead). Isn't it a good thing if mindlessly doing what you always do doesn't work on a few champions? Fizz, yi, elise and vlad can also ignore burst with one of their skills (e-q-e-w).
As you say she only reflects a stun to the first person in the clearly defined line, sidestep the cc.
All they need to do is nerf the ult heal
lmao that is the least of anyones concern.
It has a greater base than jannas ult. let that sink in
there is two threads about it with one meddler reply. go check it out! (i dunno how to link other threads tho)
she basically has a windwall that negate a whole team fight initiation
