What do you do when your Bronze teammates have ZERO awareness?

Last match, we pulled the new meta again, threw the game, due to THE FACT that my teammates had ZERO AWARENESS.

We aced the enemy team, Yi does a ton of damage, yet he goes jungle and we don't finish enemy base. Enemy Yasuo is fed, yet Yi tries to fight him over and over again. We took out 3 enemies and have our full team up, Yi goes jungle, rest of team does something similar. Yi and Tristana push to enemy base despite me warning them that the entire enemy is reviving. They both die. Annie goes into the enemy base when the entire enemy has revived and then Heimer tells her to put a ward down for teleport. They both die. Our Yi then runs past 2 enemies to pick off a low health enemy. He gets the kill but proceeds to die afterward. We threw the game there.

Then they proceed to blame me for going "2/7 Morgana". A summary of the game. Our Heimer fed the Yasuo 4 quick kills, then asked for a lane swap. I go up top, and he's just tower diving me. Even after I snared him, he still manages to kill me under tower. So I start off 0-3-3. I do catch up by helping my team get kills and even stole a Baron. I finish 2-7-9 and all anyone can talk about is my score even though we could've won the game if my teammates had awareness. I typed and typed and typed and told them about our advantages, yet our Trist goes bot when they have 3-4 dead, Yi goes jungle, Annie um... roams around the map. Heimer, who was already feeding manages to get caught out by that last enemy alive. When we could've all just pushed to the enemy base.

What do you do when your teammates act retarded and don't have any awareness?

You stop blaming everyone else and stop believing your team mates will do the right thing. You can lose a lot of games because of your team mates sure, and i'm not saying it is your fault, but if YOU play well every game you will climb regardless of team mates, notice i said climb and not win.

There are of course ways to improve your chances, and if i were you i would pick champions who are less reliant on your team mates, for example it is much easier to carry as a Rengar jungle than it is as an Amumu, one needs a team and the other does not. Morgana, albeit strong, does not possess a kit that can solo win a game, or can help a losing lane.

I know it is frustrating, and i feel for you, but figure out your own playstyle and focus only on that, you will improve and all the baddies will soon be behind you (well there will be new ones, they never stop coming, but you'll be out of bronze)

I just looked at your ranked stats, i would just go for Master Yi every game if i were you, don't play Shen, he needs a team too much, Yi is perfect for you, your team mates can all suicide and the enemy wastes all their CC and damage on them and then you swoop in for the kills, you can also splitpush. Go Yi!

Also, if you can work on your CSing, getting roughly 100 cs and sometimes waaaay less than that in a 40 minute game will not cut it.

You carry your bronze teammates

There is more than one way to win a game, but yelling at your team in all caps is not one of them.

You can't do anything. It's the same in Platinum... You will see the same people over and over.

There's really only one way out and that's to duo with someone who is the same level as you, LoL is a team game sadly but if you have someone to properly communicate with you'll increase your chances of winning. So find someone to duo with then play some normals together and figure out each other's play style and then try ranked, of course this wont get rid of afkers/trolls but it'll reduce your chances of having one

Thanks for the help guys. I just came out of a game as J4. I did decent as jungle, but once again, my team had 0 awareness despite me starting with asking nicely, to spamming pings, to yelling in caps. Didn't matter, they refused to guard bot and top's split pushes or just had 0 awareness.

I am in bronze too, and most people figure everyone in their respective league have equal knowledge/skill so don't like to listen.

It's soloQ. If you want something done really you should be doing it yourself or taking something of equal or greater value. Ignore your team mostly. You aren't any better than them if you are bronze aswell. Ignore what they say and go based on movements, not words. Bronze players will often say one thing and not do it. Make suggestions not demands. Always have a plan B. Try and outplay your enemies whenever possible. In lane or elsewhere. Sometimes you can pull 2v1s or 3v4s unexpectedly because you actually fight where everyone else would run. But try to do it in a calculated way. (really fed) Make sure you actually last hit. Don't watch what your team is doing. It distracts this and dualing your opponent. Farm between ganks if you jungle.

You should give up trying to "give awareness" or stop you and your team being retarded usually.

I haven't played ranked yet, but I get matched up with people in bronze/silver and I get what you mean. I see everything from "wards don't do damage" when I ask a support to also buy wards like I do, to Leblanc junglers, to people picking baron/dragon over the enemy nexus after there is an Ace. I'm no stranger to playing games where our side is fed, but we still lose because team choices and positioning matter just as much.

From what my friends tell me ranked is 10x worse, and after I've seen my friend's ranked games in bronze/silver compared to that of my friends in gold/plat, I can see why we get no respect. Tons of troll builds and tunnel vision. It's bizarre because I see these people's match history, and most of the time it's not so bad, even good. For some reason ranked just throws people, so it might help to communicate as much as possible to make your teammates less nervous.

Try to play the carry champions, and get yourself fed or win your lane. Once you do that you can roam, and help out your team. Even then, you might not win. If you get stuck as the support, which happens frequently to one of my friends, then it's out of your hands sadly. You just need to keep trying, you have plenty of time to move up and it should happen to you eventually.

A nice suggestion I saw in this game is to duo queue with a friend, and that can work. However you should know that you may be matched up with people slightly more skilled than you or your friend. A friend of mine did that a couple games for their placement matches, and suffered because of it. If you aren't on point with your friend, or they're slightly less skilled than you, it can be a bad idea.
