I'd love to see if the invisible spear happened in the LCS. But then i wouldn't see it...

It's been observed in the LCS multiple times. Everyone knows about it. The problem is nailing it down.

Her ult now does 20% less damage.
Her Q pierces the first target.
Her traps shred resistance .75 seconds after they are stepped on.

I love the ult part there for Nid. Transforming too good. Gotta passively reduce all damage. Or something something missed something there.

I was thinking about her spears to take 0.5s to be thrown while adding a danger particle that shows it's path.

That way she would no more miss DFG to complete her combo.

I know people have trouble seeing her sometimes invisible spears, but is no one noticing the spell effects? never been that hard to me to notice spell effects for then to move away from them

If you're in lane. Sure. That's a lot easier.

But try dodging when you have no idea where she is. It's not fair to have to really focus on spell effects when there's a million and 1 things going on in a game.

Also, sometimes the spell effects are also invisible.

I honestly can't believe you're trying to defend this....

The invisible spear bug causes her projectile to be completely invisible. particles and all.

It's a lot rarer than people claim though. And most of the complaints involve headhunter skin, which is known for being hard to see. For a better reference of how frequently invisible spears occur, look for complaints about invisible Mundo cleavers and Ezreal Q's.

Hey, there are currently two issues with Nidalee AFAIK.

The first is that (perhaps with certain skins) her spear doesn't appear but the spear effects (light projecting off spear) do appear and move toward you. I consider this to be a bug - the spears are visible via lighting effects but the actual spear itself doesn't show. The second are actually totally invisible spears. There are no effects, nothing visibly moving toward you at all.. then boom 50% of your health disappears and you can hear that you were just hit by a spear. The second is a bug, and is now exploitable.

1 way to exploit it has been found recently. It's already confirmed that isn't the only cause.

Contrary to popular QQ, no it doesn't.

It's also not the only invisible projectile that get thrown around on occasion; and you can see how often people complain about invisible Mundo cleavers.

Most of the complaints tend to center on Nid's head hunter skin. Bare in mind, those spears are known for being hard to see.

I've had it happen with Lux(Her E) at a ratio of AT LEAST 2:1 with Nid spears. I think I've only ever seen the Invisible Nid spears 2-3 times? And She's played a lot. Seen the Invisible Lux E at least 5 times, and she's not a real common pick by comparison.

I once had an entire game where I really only saw the spell particle, and a couple of times even the particles were missing. I just mentioned it in one of the threads and left it at that, considering how little traction they picked up from Ritoers.

you don't even need to dodge them if you stand behind creep, invisible spears or not . its like trying to catch someone on the other side of a table. they cant get to you without going around. so walk with them... if she DOES miss a spear...then YOU go in and trade her because she will lose every trade where she doesn't have hunted proced.. nidalee is seriously one of the easiest champs in the game to counterplay in lane.

just keep your lane pushed and you'll have a huge wall of minions that nid cant throw spears through.

do u people like NOT realize this?
