"IF My champion gets played in the lcs they will be nerfed hard"
that is false some champions will never be nerfed

Lee has been nerfed into the ground before. Thresh has been nerfed less on his w's shield and his ulti's damage capabilities..... I dunno when vayne was nerfed. I haven't been playing long enough.
Before you downvote me do the research... Lee sin had the attack speed reduction removed from his cripple, safeguard duration reduction, removed the safeguard shield on ward jumping, removed armor from iron will, nerfed the early game slow on iron will.
Iron will's duration actually used to be at 5 seconds... they nerfed it twice. lol
why downvote him he's right

How is he right ? Tresh has been nerfed a lot.Vayne has been nerfed too after her release in SEASON 1.Yes i think she needs to have less damage or mobility but she's not as strong as she was before. Then lee sin...any player who was here in season 1-2 knows how scary lee sin was back then. The one we have at the moment is balanced and it's not because he's a playmaking champion, that he deserves to be nerfed. Lee sin back then, had more damage, attack speed slow and MS on his E,insane lane dominance AND jungler dominance. So seriously ..stop nerfing him.May be ,MAY BE some minor changes but he had enough nerf already.

I think they mean meaningful nerfs.
Thresh has /never/ been a bad pick since he's been released. All he gets is slap on the wrist nerfs.

Both of them have.... o.o... The point of nerfs isn't to make a champion a bad pick. It's to roll back on their strengths...

There's a pretty big difference in nerfs to champions like Thresh/Lee and champions like Lulu/Khazix/Twitch.

Lee was pretty close to their level of being hit. Kha is way ahead on that scale though. Thresh was less so but like I said, the point of nerfing a champion isn't to make them unplayable.
League logic seems to dictate that if a champion is still playable and useful after a nerf they haven't been nerfed hard enough...
Maybe that's because when so many other things get nerfed, they do become unplayable. Why do lee, vayne, and thresh get to always be playable while the rest take turns getting gutted?

Kha was "gutted" and he's still in a usable state... People tend to also overreact to Nerfs. Nerfs don't usually make a champion unplayable. The sentiment is usually "ohh my main got nerfed and they must be unplayable now"
There are plenty of utility supports with overloaded kits as well. Which is why they're "utility" supports....
Why play Kha'zix when you can do everything he does but better while playing Rengar.
That was thanks to the Rengar "rework". Not the Kha nerfs. Prior to the Rengar rework Kha was still seeing pro play despite being "gutted"
Either way regardless of what anyone says I think Rengar is overpowered and just a Kha'zix on steroids. Kha'zix can have a cool jump every once in a while, Rengar can jump halfway across the map for some reason with a 0 second cooldown and he's actually rewarded for doing it I believe. Kha'zix can slow you, Rengar will snare you for the next hour. Kha'zix has AoE damage that and single target damage that scales off AP and AD. Rengar will literally one shot your ADC and god forbid he ever decides to build more than a single AD item or you will never see your ADC for the rest of the game.
Both need massive kit reworks. Though heaven knows when Riot will ever get to it. Between the love/hate relationship that the community has with assassins, the overhaul on assassin kits is going to be polarizing to say the least.
Wait, are you saying that they should be nerfed until they're unplayable? That trend puts people up in arms every time and I think we can all hope that unless something is truly broken it only receives enough nerfs to put it in line.
Every champion is always playable (barring game-breaking bugs or lore events actually disabling them). Unless you meant to say always viable? In which case Vayne does not fit in that list. Lee and Thresh have pretty much ways been seen, though, so I'll give you that.
Maybe that's because when so many other things get nerfed, they do become unplayable. Why do lee, vayne, and thresh get to always be playable while the rest take turns getting gutted?
Because even when Lee Sin is absolute garbage (he has the lowest winrate of any jg all the way through diamond, he sucks, quit circlejerking) people choose to play him because he's fun. There's no way to make him unplayable because even when he's the single worst jg in the game people choose to play him.
thresh's strength is not his numbers. he could do 0 damage at all and still be good because he does everything. q is long range hook/stun and works as an initiation. w is shield and safety line. e is sweep and slow that stops channels and pulls or pushes opponents, whichever you want it to be. r is 99% slow. the damage is icing on the cake of DEATH

Tell that to riot, I don't think they understand this concept.
Thresh can't be nerfed into irrelevance, his power doesn't come from numbers. Thresh's power comes from the sheer number of things he can do with his kit.
Lee's AS slow removal was HUGE. Part of his early game strength came from the AS's slow ability to give him an advantage in duels.
Thresh's passive change from his Q to his E was also significant. It forces plays to either rank up Q for the cd, or E for the harass damage. It cut his power down dramatically.
If it's such a HUGE nerf, why is he still a top pick in LPL and LCK? He's never been nerfed "into the ground". He's ALWAYS been good. And if he is still fine in pro play after all of these nerfs, then doesn't that just say how crazy strong he was before the nerfs...?
Thresh is currently elbowing other supports out of viability. Remember back when the ADC poke meta was a thing, and Sona was popular? I think Riot instantly nerfed all her auras, her Power Chord damage, and made her the squishiest champion in the game at level 1.
Thresh dominating pick for an entire year? perfectly fine by them. Move along.

He's elbowing people out of competition...? They nerfed Sona because she was being played in solo lanes. Sona is still a strong support pick, with proper execution she can use ardent censure bring havoc to a team fight. Thresh's only lane is bot lane which is why he has. She still pokes really really hard.
Plus janna is still a really strong pick, naut is a relatively strong pick, blitz is a strong pick, I mean there are a lot of strong picks and thresh doesn't really outclass them by that much if at all.
Blitz was probably the weakest character mentioned. Low utility but strong play making potential.

I think you're confusing Sona with Soraka or Lulu, or you're gone way back and talk about after release nerf.
The "elbowing competition" thing is what Morello said at the moment they announced they'll nerf her.
Also Naut being a strong support (when he's intended to be top or jungle) is directly related to him being tanky in a lane where base poke damage was lowered to favour scaling utility (and the fact jungle itemization courrently favors damage dealers). Janna, and the resurging Morgana support, are good picks because they can counter initiations.
As a
main I dissagree
Assassins and Bruisers are in the meta more and more. That sounds like a Viktor nerf to me.
His early game took a big nerf just last patch. I also main him, and since 5.16 I'm having a lot more trouble than I used to. They nerfed his weakest point, while not really fixing the actual problems people have laning against him.
I disagreed with the "this is false" statement. However, after a few days of experimenting with runes and builds, I have to admit that I see little to no difference. Maybe because my experience with a champion is so high (~700 games) so I was able to adapt quite fast.
might get nerfed
But just in case there will be compensations, and overall she'll be stronger than before.
Her nerf on PBE is to her Passive Heal (edit) on basic attacks. I'm not sure if that's the problem which makes her statistically one of the strongest champs in the game, but it's something I guess.
Dunno where you read that, but they nerfed her early sustain via passive pretty well already.
Oops, that's what I was referring.
I was once a
main.
Then he saw LCS play.
Shortly after, he got nerfs and a rework.
I changed my name because of this.

Vayne/lee got released in s1.
Thresh HAS been nerfed a lot over the past. He might be strong but there are plenty of other strong supports, such as
,
,
,
,
,
,
,
. Hell, the choice of support is a LOT more varied now than it ever was. Anyone with a modicum of CC can support, even if they weren't designed to (
is a key suspect)
Also, I feel a little insulted that Thresh is compared to
and
. In his respective position, he's far, far less broken. And at the very least, he isn't getting buffed right now (not like Vayne got the Q buff that made it tons more forgiving if you do not the shot, or Lee getting the passive rework that makes it even easier to use AND the ultimate buff).
Well the difference is Thresh can't carry a game like Lee and Vayne. I think that has a lot to do with people thinking he's not as "OP" as they are.
But if he can't carry a game like Lee and Vayne can, then he literally isn't OP. OP means overpowered, and the measure of power is how hard someone can carry a game.
Even if you're a godlike Thresh, you're still reliant on your teammates to do the damage. It's not like
or
where they can reliably and easily 1v2 or even 1v3 by themselves.
It's comparing carries that can delete characters in three shots or 4 button presses and a support that can at best hold someone down only for another person to deal that damage. At that point, it's a 2v1. But wouldn't the 1 person die faster if the support was ALSO a carry?
I'd like to call this Carrynomics.
I think you are looking at it a bit wrong. "OP" means you are over powered vs the same type. So an "OP" adc is going to be different than an "OP" tank. Supports can not carry, but one can be "OP" vs the others. And that's what Thresh is. He's just better in more ways than any other support. Some have higher strengths, but those that do have VASTLY more prominent weaknesses.

Yes,which is why people narrow down on thresh so hard,no,he is the strongest of all of these.

He's actually far worse than both of them,at least they had a period where they weren't in the meta, thresh has always been alternating between top tier and broken tier,he is by far the biggest offender against variety in this game.
I have a history of this,
Play champions for months and suddenly they're in the LCS and boom, it goes from always getting to play those I love, to always having to deal with them banned, to them receiving huge nerfs when other people who are consistently in the lcs have jack all done to them
r.i.p.
S3-4 (this was top, the nerfs aimed at his jgl fucked him top lane at the time back in the early season 4 tank meta)
S4
S4-5 (well he's not gone yet, but rito is going through the whole "were going to nerf everything about this champion until all that's left is the problem we refuse to address"
S3-5 Goodbye my first main
Wukong is still amazing top. You just have to play aggresive early.
Talon is still good in the right hands.
Azir, well, azir is still pretty good.
Viktor is only getting his early game nerfed. His late game is still the same. So really he's still godlike.
Happened to my kha'zix, then I got sad
RIP
She's soooooooooooo dead ;-;
Stop bullshitting. The only one on that list that hasn't received a nerf is Vayne.
Both Lee and Thresh got nerfed pretty hard. However they were so broken that nerfing them hard merely made them just strong lol.
you're wrong.
Then again the massive nerfs she has received since release and she's still 50% winrate while pick/ban in LCS just shows how broken she is by design.
