you will never have it as long as you show favoritism towards thresh lee sin vayne and nerf hard champions you don't like in the lcs or nerf some champions for the lcs except them you suck at balancing for lcs diversity

You would have a point, if Lee Sin and Vayne saw considerable play this year. Champions like Gragas, Sivir, Lulu, Ori, and Alistar saw much more LCS play.

lee sin didn't ger considerable play this year nice joke

In the LCS? No he did not. Not compared to Gragas, Sej, and Elise. In fact, I checked and Lee Sin was only the 34th most common pick/ban this last split. http://www.goldper10.com/stat/2062-na-lcs-summer-split-2015-picks-and-bans-stats.html

I'd like to point out that Ezreal saw more play in two patches thanks to Runeglaive than Lee Sin has the entire split.

that's because they were incredibly broken during one patch. Cinderhulk pushed grag and sej into the lcs. Elise got buffs. They were probably never seen again after their nerfs, and before them. Lee Sin was probably in their games when they werent powerful.

Laughing Fish19 votes

Do you watch LCS? Lee was not a problem this year.

Dextix LT5 votes

However i see a problem here. Lee was always a good pick in LCS, now he wasnt picked, and because of that he instantly got buffed.

There are champs that rarely ever see LCS play in any meta, yet they are not buffed.

At least for me it looks like favoritism. Lee fell out of favor and instantly he gets buffed, others? Dont matter.

Dr Poro10 votes

Some champion like Warwick will NEVER see play in LCS because how binary their kit is and EASILY countered. However, WW is still a great soloQ champion. The only way WW would see play is if he would be so powerful that his winrate is over 60% in soloQ. Or... If he gets a rework.

Just accept it that there are champs good at soloQ and champs good at LCS. Lee Sin is way better in LCS than he is in soloQ. His winrate has been below 47% for over a year. There will always be champions that are picked way more often than others because they're safe blind picks. Lee sin is one of those, so is Gragas. Do you want to see more Gragas instead?

Dextix LT4 votes

I would like to see other champions. Not that lee bullshit again. Like i said, once lee falls out of favor, BUFFS BUFFS! But once some other champs fall under the radar like cassiopeia which has her winrate LONGER than lee noone ccares about them. Strange huh?

Cassiopeia is still a mess and is weaker for such a long time, yet lee falls and isntantly gets a pick me up.

Dont even try to tell me that there is no favoritism here, because its appareant.

Laughing Fish7 votes

Cassiopeia has received a lot of work (far more than Lee), they just made some major mistakes when reworking her. They can't just throw some numbers at her and fix her, she needs some major changes to her kit. This takes a long time to fix (look how long Poppy's rework is taking). And whatever buff you are talking about that is supposed to return Lee to the top, it clearly did not do that. Lee is still not a common pick anymore.

Dextix LT2 votes

Because LCS plays on different patch. Patch 5.16 with lee buffs just came out. Yes, right now lee is an average pick, but any buff to him risks making him the top dog again.

Laughing Fish5 votes

Wait... You are talking about the simple changes on the last patch? His passive will still average the same energy return, and the changes to his ult are not that big. It is a small change. Are you honestly comparing changing some numbers on a champion to fixing the mess that is Cassiopeia? And are you ignoring the fact that they did HUGE balance changes for other champions this patch?

Kuroi865 votes

Apparently he think kicking a tank into the enemy team will do more than allow the enemy team to disengage and reengage at a later time.

TotN Titan4 votes

Lee Sin's "buffs" were patched in to help lesser skilled people possibly pick him up as a champion they could play. These changes will help ease a little bit of his learning curve. Because of his advanced mechanics, his skill floor was quite a bit higher than other, simpler champions. Riot just gave him some love to open up his player pool to more people. Nothing they did will change how often he is picked in LCS.

Laughing Fish13 votes

Some people are just never happy.

LaceUp234 votes

I think a big reason Lee's YoloQ win rate is so low is because of the amount of people that play him for the first time because they saw him played in LCS lol. His win rate jumps when people have experience on him. Though his win rates have been lower recently, but that's just because of the bullshit that is devourer and them giving Elise super powers lol. I think the big problem is that Lee isn't even a non-top tier pick for a season and is getting buffs, meanwhile he has crowded out the jungle for so damn long without nerfs lol.

Laughing Fish2 votes

You appear to be ignoring the fact that a bunch of champions are now seeing more play than Lee Sin. This means that Riot has not only brought other champions to Lee's level, but many of them are now better picks. I will repeat what I said before: Lee Sin is not a problem this season.

Dextix LT2 votes

So wait, lee is not at top anymore? There are so many more champs that were never at top, yet lee isnt at top for a while and he instantly gets buffs?

That is favoritism.

Kha zix, kassawin, Mundo. Once upon a time they were the top dogs, the top tier picks. But when they fell noone seemed to care in riot. But lee fell off the radar for a bit and he isntantly gets buffs.

I indeed see favoritism here.

Laughing Fish3 votes

What major buffs are you talking about? LCS is only one patch behind, and yet Lee still didn't see a significant amount of play. It appears that you ignore the buffs and work to other champions, but whenever Lee Sin gets any attention you say "See? They have a favorite", despite the fact that others champions are played more and have received more buffs. I will try repeating this one more time: Lee Sin is not a problem this season.

Dextix LT2 votes

Yes, he is not a problem, but he isnt weak either. There are a lot weaker champs than him. Other buffs actually make sense, but the lee one doesnt.

Laughing Fish4 votes

So let me get this straight. Your problem is that Lee Sin isn't under-powered now? He is not weak, nor should he be. He should be balanced, which he is now. And one more time I will ask this question (perhaps I will get an answer this time): What major changes did Lee Sin receive recently that is supposed to return him to the top?

Dextix LT3 votes

No, my problem is that an AVERAGE champion is being bufffed, a champion that still receives moderate play. It is also my problem that he is made easier to use, his skillcap is significantly lowered too at the same time of the buff.

My problem is that this champion which is AVERAGE is prioritized over champions like current nidalee, mundo or urgot.

And what changes did he receive? I suggest you to read 5.16 patch notes to see that. Those buffs are not little, those are quite big buffs which not only give him strenght but lowerr his skillcap significantly.

Kuroi861 votes

Those buffs are not little, those are quite big buffs which not only give him strenght but lowerr his skillcap significantly.

Admittedly his passive buff is big, though really that's all that he benifits from. The other so called "buff" will rarely if ever see practical use.

ONLY when someone specifically TANKY is hit and ONLY to people the tanky dude is sent flying to.

very conditional. most lee only use their ult to insec. so its even more irelevant

Stop saying "probably"

LCS matches are so easy to find replays and stats of it's stupid, and you make yourself sound like an ignorant know-it-all when you make random claims that have literally NO basis in reality.

Gragas is still picked regularly, so is Rek'sai, and then you have a whole other bracket of high tier junglers before Lee even enters the picture.

Cause of the ~6 games of lcs videos i've watched, every single one of them had a lee sin. Yes it was this season. You would think i would want to see 10 people farming for 40 minutes. If i wanted to watch PVE I would be watching single player games.

That's why I said probably. I may be wrong, but I've seen enough to make an assumption.

junglerboy165 votes

6 games out of two 100 game seasons (assuming you only watched NA) and two multi match tournament style playoffs.

That sample size though. Definitely enough to make an assumption.

That's like watching a tv show and every single episode that you watched, the main character kills some villain. You can probably assume that the show is going to have alot of villains.

It doesn't matter how many episodes you watch, it just depends on the frequency that you see something show up. Like i said I can be wrong, but if i see lee sin in 6 out of the 6 games i've watched, I'm going to assume hes popular. You would too.

THE STATS ARE ALL ONLINE. YOU CAN LOOK THEM UP. I'VE EVEN SEEN SOMEONE POST A LINK TO SUCH A SITE IN THIS VERY THREAD.

Did the allcaps help push the words through your thick skull? Because that's all I can think of to make it clearer.

"We want diversity for Season 5!" Season 5 proceeds to host the most diverse meta we have ever seen in the history of League of Legends... until they nerfed Tanks by nerfing them, Cinderhulk, AND Armor items, and making item 3931 which is absolutely ridiculous in soloque and essentially forces the Meta into XinZhao MasterYi Shyvana Udyr Kayle Vi junglers with everyone else sucking.

THIS. RITO READ THIS. gesus some patches ago League was in his best shape, there are a lot of different champion exept mages in the jungle.. It's not like we are forced to have mages top, mid and jungle to have diversity, mages are just bad at pve, deal with it... but no! they had to ruin everything with runeglaive and every patch after that was another step in killing diversty.

Runeglaive changed almost nothing. Everyone who builds Runeglaive (Nidalee, Elise, Eve) was either already good building other enchants (Nid liked Magus, Eve Warrior/Cinder) or would have became good using other enchants (Elise still builds Cinder quite often). If anything Runeglaive increased diversity because Elise and Evelynn now have more options than they once did, rather than being pigeon-holed into the tanky enchant.

Voluug133 votes

Runeglaive was a non-factor.

The problem is the tank nerfs and Devourer being easily abused by the always problem champions.

In fact, it dimished diversity because now Fiddle cant get a decent jungle item.

Kuroi862 votes

Fiddle ever had a decent jungle item?

Voluug131 votes

Magus. The cdr was pretty good on him, specially because his build didnt leave much space for cdr. Of course the point is that it was usable, while RG is basically useless for him.

Kuroi862 votes

Don't know if I'd qualify usable with decent.

LOL at anyone who thinks Sated Devourer warped the meta to anywhere near the same degree that release item 3717 did. Cinderhulk didn't just make jungle tanks viable, it made them crowd out literally every other choice and even if you picked someone like Rek'sai, Lee Sin, Xin Zhao, Vi, or even Master Yi, you still built Cinderhulk on them. Hell, Cinderhulk was so blatantly overpowered that people were willing to forgo flash in top lane and spend 850 gold ealy game on a jungle item just to get it.

Dextix LT5 votes

Yea, butit got nerfed, devourer still isnt nerfed.

Silents4291 votes

I like how the meta isn't diverse until it's only tanks, because somehow people think only tanks is diverse.

Diverse is about not having 1 form of champion dominate the entire season and that hasn't occured this season, we had all sorts of changes.

Crowe Stalker5 votes

I don't think you've been around for the whole season if you make this statement unironically. Yes, things like Vi JarvanIV RekSai and Sejuani Jungle dominated the meta in their respective times, but we also saw Urgot played in the mid lane... FUCKING. URGOT! The Champion that everyone thought was a Trollpick in need of a major rework saw play on the Pro Level! Isn't That saying something about Diversity? Mid Lane became more open as the meta shifted away from Assassins like Fizz and Zed and shift more towards sustained damage mages or poke lanes like Cassiopeia or Varus. We have never seen the level of diversity that was Early to Mid Season 5 in any season beforehand. Everyone has seen some kind of play by now...

Unfortunately, that all ended when item 3726 was reworked into item 3931 and the Jungle shifted from whatever people wanted to pick into the extremely oppressive farm-and-win-at-twenty champions in Soloque like Udyr XinZhao MasterYi Shyvana Kayle Vi. The Pros may not be affected by the new Sated, but the people in Soloque are now forced to accept that if they must either burn 5 to 6 bans (and maybe still miss someone) or be forced to deal with the extremely toxic 5v4 for the enemy team and then suddenly the enemy comes out of the jungle with a ridiculous powerspike we can't realistically avoid and then stomps us.

Silents4291 votes

Sated is just as diverse as any of the other metas, whether you like the champions or the item means nothing, they are still champions that weren't dominating previously and then came out, and once sated or the sated abusers get dealt with we will cycle back to an assassin or bruiser dominated meta.

AMYS GRAVE2 votes

Sated is just as diverse as any of the other metas

Source for that statement?

Silents4291 votes

I don't need a source for it? Sated is the dominate item right now for the jungle as with all the junglers that use it.

AMYS GRAVE2 votes

Then if sated is dominating that means the jungle isn't diverse. got it.

Silents4291 votes

{quoted}

Then if sated is dominating that means the jungle isn't diverse. got it.

Yet tanks dominating is diverse and better. Uh huh.

Diverse is what we see throughout the season and LCS, there will never be a point when we see all the champions getting played in the course of a month.

AMYS GRAVE2 votes

patches 5.7-5.9 saw more champions played at higher rates than we had seen for years. Tanks weren't dominating the meta by any means. Assassins were played, adcs could do their job, AP supports were played far more than they were now, the top lane saw tanks carries and bruisers alike. The "tank meta" wasn't anywhere near as oppressive to other classes of champions as other metas have been.

You also haven't supplied a source for your statement yet which means until you do, you're just spouting nonsense.

LCS isn't what defines diversity.

PokladnicaZla6 votes

Maybe Season 6 will be fulfill our expectation for a more divers/balanced game.
