yea, as she is now it had been a big nerf to every actually good zyra player and a buff for people that are just happy to spawn more random plants. But she really isn´t fun to play anymore, she just feels so darn clumsy to play.

They crippled the damage on her Q while making it way harder than it used to be to hit and generally more garbage at everything other than spawning plants. They also crippled Zyra's damage pr plant making you utterly reliant on her garbage RNG passive to spawn plants and removing control from the player.
That second issue is the big one IMO because it makes my skill on the champion feel less important. I can play a scenario perfectly and just wind up getting fucked over because my passive threw a seed behind me rather than somewhere actually useful. In the same vain I could also play far worse and have my passive spawn two seeds right near the enemy and have a better result.
I don't understand the logic here. Old Zyra had seeds that lasted 30s, she held two, and only recharged them like every 20s. She also had a plant cap of 4. In almost all circumstances, it was nearly impossible to have her maximum amount of plants out at any given time considering they expired before you could make more. Her passive was one of the weakest after-death passives in the game, and while her burst was slightly better, her old kit was awkward and didn't fit her intended fantasy of being a plant controller. Her old kit was extremely clunky because she had all these spells that depended on plants and pods, but you needed to play her like a burst mage to be effective.
Her rework fixed this very well. While the new passive is randomly generated, there are preferences for it - the pods will spawn more frequently in bushes and towards pathways into the Jungle. Additionally, you two calling her clunky seem to forget that W is still nearly identical to before, allowing you the same amount of plant spawning as her old kit did, with the added bonus of the random ones. Her burst isn't as potent as before, I'll give you that, but again, her fantasy that they were trying to achieve wasn't for her to be Brand 2.0 or Xerath 1.5, it was to have her be a minion master who could manipulate and spawn specific plant based pets. If you guys want burst mages with roots and CC, go with Morgana or Lux. Zyra isn't and never was intended to be primary burst.
