is one of the most picked champions even though he is banned an nearly every game. He wrecks havoc in yoloQ and tournaments. Even when he's behind 2 kills he outdamages basically any mage but maybe 
(who already got nerfed on PBE). He shines with insane burst, damage sustain, mobility and pushing power, he destroys tanks and squishies alike. Did I mention his extremely slong low cooldown AoE slow which can be cast while moving?

can be considered immune to it. It's mechanical balance (which riot almost never touches) rather than a numerical one. You have two cases for champions like that, either their way below average because their numbers are so low or they are constantly on the top of the charts because their numbers aren't to low.

Quepha2 votesassassins are supposed to be about risk and reward but zed has ranged poke, ground targeted blinks that don't use up any of his kit's burst. if there are no targets to assassinate he can just make some with his poke, if he gets caught out or misreads a situation and dives into danger he can just shadow swap back to safety. zed is all reward and no risk so there's no reason for pros not to pick him as long as they know how to play him.
also if he happens to be below average apparently riot will buff him out of nowhere because everyone wants to see the same champs every game every season

ppl complain about him because he is popular and heck i like to play him too but there are loads of champs which require riots look more than him
ccseancc1435 votesWhat, no. Talon does all those things and isn't as safe. Talon is literally the true assassin. High risk high reward. If you jump in at the wrong moment or mess up your combo your 2 second stealth isn't going to save you in the middle of teh team fight.

also there is a big problem with high risk high reward champs whic is the fact that their combos are usualy unavoidable unless your team pells for you
so overall zed winns when it comes to being the healthiest assasin out there because he isnt innsanely opressive at solos and is peelable

If the game was balanced around Lee and Zed, we'd all have a fun time deleting everyone off the map with a simple tap here and a whack there.
I don't even want to think about what it would be like to have a truly mobile Malphite.
