The problems with the Warrior Enchant and how it could learn from Cinderhulk

Warrior is a problem because it is a bandaid fix and has no real effect on clears like Cinderhulk

It highlights the entire issue with Bruiser itemization. I agree that Bruisers always want to build a few Offensive Items early then transition into full Tank after that, but having the Jungler enchants serve the purpose of fixing all of your issues like a bandage seems imbalanced and badly designed.

**Warrior was made to help ADs that Jungle. **

Same with Juggernaut for Tanks. They later reworked Juggernaut to focus specifically on what Tanks play like and what they specifically want build wise and it promoted over half of the class in terms of jungling ability. Currently Warrior is just used by any AD Character, regardless of specialization, so that they can fix their macro problems with a micro item.

**Warrior should give more specific stats like %increased AD instead of CDR + Armor Pen. **

In the same way that BC is getting reworked to focus on specifics, and similar to Cinderhulk, I think Warrior should be reworked (and Magus too) to focus specifically on more offensive oriented builds and solving the problems of what characters like Kha really want from an item rather than giving general stats everybody likes.

TLDR

Juggernaut/Devourer Help Those who want to Tank/Autoattack and helps their clears Warrior/Magus help anyone that is AD/AP and has no real effect on clears

That needs to change in the latter to be more like the former

Oh boy here we go again. You decided to delete the old thread and make a new one, ay? To escape all those "bad" and "horrible" comments you claim that were "antagonizing" you?

Well I'm going to repeat the message right here and now: ANYONE IS FREE TO BUILD WHATEVER THEY WANT.

Plus if bruisers want to continue doing sustained damage, one Warrior enchant item and then full tank is perfectly fucking fine. Get that through your thick skull.

Those negative responses were because I worded the post wrong and reacted wrongly to it. Making a new thread and deleting the old one has nothing to do with your projected assumed emotions. I am nothing and feel nothing.

You are free to build whatever you want. That has nothing to do with this thread.

Warrior Enchant + Full Tank is only fine because a real offensive AD Jungle enchant doesn't exist.

Magus should definitely be reworked, or at least that's my opinion. Only champion I'd buy it on would be Fiddlesticks, due to his sustain. Elise or others, I'd probably buy cinderhulk or maybe devourer (but not on Elise).

However, I don't think Warrior should give %increased AD, otherwise it may become an assassination item when right now it's a decent early game burst item for bruisers. It doesn't really have any issues at the moment, though a lack of identity and just being a ball of stats could be an issue, so you might be onto something there.

An interesting topic that deserves a bit of thought, I'd say. We'll have to ponder it for awhile.

Well Shaco/Rengar/Kha'Zix/Master Yi already build Warrior specifically for doing high AD damage, which I suppose is Assassinating. The %AD helps them out in the same way that current Warrior does without making it as general as AD+CDR+Armor Pen.

I think that the void of "need an item for early game engages that deals with tanks" will be filled with the new Black Cleaver, thus warranting the rework of Warrior.

I thought Yi did devourer to farm faster... what are they doing in that jungle all game otherwise? o.O

Hm... what if the new warrior was the anti-thesis of cinderhulk? Maybe it be similar to LW or Botrk, an offensive scaling (but not on AD)?

He can do both. Warrior is more burst and gank oriented.

Offensive scaling like %increased Physical Damage would actually serve the same purpose as Armor Penetration, possibly even making it even more efficient to Warrior + Full Tank.

I think that whatever they do, Warrior should be a Mini Tiamat just like Cinderhulk is a mini Sunfire. Magus could be a mini Liandries.

That last idea is not a terrible idea, actually. Help with clears, but it'd probably sacrifice the health regen because tiamat is already 1900 gold, so it would probably be around 2400-2600 in cost.

As for Magus... hm. Maybe it could be like Athene's, minus the matic resist and one of the mana regen effects?

Athenes doesnt really help them clear tho, it just helps anyone that is AP.

Warrior/Magus need reworked for that reason.
