He is okay given the right match-ups and team comp. Depends completely on how you play him and what comps hes in and against

Jungle rumble been a thing ever since riot removed the damage debuff vs monster camps long time ago when rune glaive was stilla thing making rumble build cinderhulk. Now that runic echo is a thing it exploded on rumble and str of ages just gives him the sustain he needed.
