More IP and Mastery for those who play Dominion, ARAM, and even Twisted Treeline, please.

I've never had a game last more than 30 (maybe 35 minutes) in any other game mode other than Summoner's Rift. It even states how long a usual match is in the game mode: Dominion = 15 to 20 minutes Twisted Treeline = 20 - 25 minutes ARAM = (really 15 -) 20 - 30 minutes

The IP we get is related to how long we've played the game (also if we won or not). This means less IP for those who play these matches.

The reason people like ARAM over Summer's Rift is pretty spread out, but my reason is that I play out of my comfort zone. I play someone I would never play.

I like how you are forced into a fight. You have little to no where to run. And best of all, there's less harassment, less trolling, meaning more fun.

The same goes for Dominion and Twisted Treeline.

I remember my first time in TT. I was so confused. There were two lanes... a jungle... and a giant spider (sorry, Vilemaw). I liked it none the less. Even if it had the same objective as SR, it felt different none the less. It was a 3 on 3. It was harder for ganks to happen unless you brought the whole team there. It was crazy, and still is. The updates only made it better, at least that's what I think. Although the buffs on the two... thingys are nerfed, I still like it because its awesome. I hope it later gets a VU like SR to allow a more visual look into the Shadow Isles.

I love Dominion. Now that the Institute of War is gone... uh, I actually want to know where it is. Is it in Piltover? That would be a AWESOME update. The best thing about Dominion, killing someone isn't the main objective here. Your main objective is get more of the domain than the opponents. Rushing around the map. Occasionally hitting a minion.

There are things I wish they'd fix or just do to it to make it crazier: They should buff the damage on the turrets. They usually only damage me about 5 times out of the whole game. Maybe make them still damage while being taken. It might make it harder. I have to say that the minions on this mode are more even than that of SR. But, even if I (my team) gets the tower, I don't see minions (tons of them) going to get the next tower. How about they group around the turret if unusable, and attack the enemies that come near. The Summoner Spell for this mode isn't really impactful. Why not game break this spell by making it re-add +1(x lvl) points to your score. The CD can either stay the same or be enlarged. And lastly, give buffs from each place taken (depending on what it is).

I wish...and I don't know how this is on the start page again, but, to point it out

the players using illegal 3rd party programs to farm IP and experience will only increase if the reward for playing this mode increases

although, the number of players might increase as well, it's doubtful because this is a side mode and not featured competitively

Life is full of risks. If all you do is think like that, then how are we suppose to really get more people to play without changing the whole game mode in the process?

Increasing IP/Mastery rewards wouldn't really fit with Riot's philosophy. They don't seem to want to officially support having to grind a specific map unless it's SR. Explicitly bribing players is also a little iffy.

It'd probably help more if Riot devoted some resources towards supporting alternate game modes. Balance changes, ranked/ladder, official tournaments, or just some other type of promotion would help solidify the legitimacy of the modes. The general playerbase typically considers non-SR game modes to be casual joke modes. Although ARAM can function as a casual mode, TT and Dom really can't.

There likely won't be much long-term impact by increasing IP/Mastery rewards*. Enthusiasts will still be driven away by the horrendous neglect. Newcomers will still be driven away by the negative perception and lack of aspirations.

*Not even in terms of bots. Bots already farm xp before being sold. Higher IP/Mastery rewards shouldn't affect the supply/demand for accounts.

Not to be the fly in your soup, but there's a base IP amount for each game, so shorter games award more IP/time. An hour of ARAMs or TTs are going to give more IP than an hour of rift games (on average).
