You mean a niche thing that Vik Top use to be then everyone was using because it was the top dog of toplane to the point you hardly could compete against it? Yeah, Soraka top's following pretty nicely into that path. Except this time Riot wont make us toplaners suffer another tank vik situation.
All you have to do is update bruiser itemization, and buff or rework anti-poke so it does the job it should be doing.

I figured it would after seeing all the posts advertising how good it is lol.
Buffing anything right now is not the answer. That will only break the champions being buffed in other roles. Just nerf the problematic champions and if another enchanter becomes broken top than nerf the, as well. Keep champions underpowered if needed, better than buffing champions to broken status.
Buffing bruisers and bruiser itemization won't change this. It will simply cover up to problem, Soraka top will still be a good pick, bruisers will simply be necessary to teamcomps because they're so strong and when they get inevitably nerfed due to other classes complaining, Soraka top will be top tier again. The solution is a complete overhaul of some bruisers kit's so they can actually fight ranged. I've thought of every single possible way we could get rid of ranged tops and this is the only realistic solution.
