Wow he became legendary garbage - what happened? Can we buff him please? He's the worst combination of weak and boring.

Hec really isn't weak if you can make it through till level 6. He power spikes so hard off just a trinity force. He definitely is a boring champion though, he is just dash and Q spam.

Honestly Hecarim is still a good champion but there are just a lot of other safer and better tank junglers right now.

Do you mind if I ask how you build up to Trinity? I'm just in the market for a speedy jungler.

It's really personal preference.

You can buy an early sheen, and just finish cinderhulk. After you finish cinderhulk/boots you can finish off a trinity. It's really the sheen proc itself that helps Hec early. You can also just rush TF first to Hec still has good wave clear in the jungle after he ranks up Q enough.

Mained Hec all last season and the start of this season. He's fallen off early game without the HP buff from Str of the Ages so now he has to decide between getting tanky w no damage or get damage being squishy.

You need to rush triforce first now when everyone is fairly weak, then tank up for mid game w cinderhulk after triforce. Going cinderhulk first kills your gank and skirmish damage which makes you just reliant on the team, and slows jg clear time

Problem w Hec now is he's super weak for the first few clears and cant fight many other strong junglers right now so if they invade he needs to run or get help. Warwick, Lee, Khazix, Zac, Graves, Xin, Yi etc will all win 1v1 against him.

If you are against targets you can blow up in 1 combo in a gank get sheen first. If you're against targets that take a few hits to slug it out get phage first. Remember that the passive proc on phage gives you move speed which also gives hec damage so it's quite a bit stronger than just the stats you see.

You really need to be active ganking to get gold income for a fast triforce. Farming camps is too slow and you cant invade with Hec very well at all
