I know I'm gonna get flamed about this but...

I'm really happy to see naut getting played in places besides support, but seeing him top lane is a nightmare in solo q. His E pushes and clears very fast on a low cd, and the dorans ring start gives him an incredible edge. At level 1 he can duel anyone and he excels at using his base damage to win lane before any major items are purchased. Either you get zoned early on and lose gold and possibly xp or you fight and lose. This coupled with his insane cc and his hook mean he remains a threat all game with no weak points. On top of that there is no starting item that grands magic resist so you can't really build against him defensively. And because of his cool down on his E and the rest of his kit he can out trade you every time even if you wait for his E to be on cd.

The only solution I have seen in game is lots of ganks but that just doesn't happen at low ELO. Right now many jungles are not ganking til 6 (ww etc). So he's allowed to bully lane freely. And that's assuming you even get a gank at all.

I have a large champion pool but I can't find a counter in lane. I don't want to use the term op, but I'm also getting pretty sick of being insulted by a do nothing jungler. Is he op or is there a solution in lane that I can use that doesn't rely on my jungler?
