There's been a massive rise in adc's in other lanes. Honestly that's not really an issue. Lane diversity is always a plus. But with the current meta revolving around winning lane, Adc's have an advantage because they can bully so effectively with little to no counterplay. Does anyone else agree or disagree?

its not even the problem that theyre able to solo lane or jungle at all.

the issue im seing here is that 2 or 3 adc are on almost every team. if a team would pick a jungle graves, quinn or kindred instead of an adc on bot lane, it wouldnt be the issue.

but as it stands, theyre strong enough that running double adc comps is simply more effective, and the duo lane is still in a state where you dont have a chance against adc + support with almost any other combination.

the only exception i can see to this is rare cases of extreme synergy like between blitzcrank and darius who could get an amlost guaranteed kill on a hooked squishy.

the melee vs. ranged matchup is still completely screwed up and we need a item 1054 buff for melees.

if other lanes are opened up for adc, then the duo lane should be opened up for other classes like mages and bruisers aswell.

I agree, the vast majority of melee vs ranged ends up in favor of the ranged.

Champions like mordekaiser & darius especially suffer since they have no engage and no crowd control. Then others like sion & chogath are very obvious and sluggish when they try to combo or interrupt their opponent.

While some of the most common ranged physical carries have disengage and/or cc; such as graves, quin, kindred, kalista, caitlyn, lucian, vayne, ext.

It often sucks to be facing a ranged opponent as a melee champion; since minions are even less reliable, and towers are even weaker than before.

We should make an item to help melees deal with people filling top with ranged champions.

The Vaynekiller (Melee Only) - 450g +10 armor +25% base health regeneration Unique Passive: When no ally champions and up to 1 enemy champion are within 2000 units, all ranged attacks against this unit reflect 300% of their damage back on to their attacker. This effect expires after 10 minutes.

This is what happens, when Riot finally listens to ADC mains circlejerk. 2 ADCs in every single game wasn't enough.
Now we have bot AD carries (all of them), mid AD carries (Corki, Ezreal), top AD carries (Quinn, Vayne) and even jungle AD carries (Graves, Kindred). Riot just needs to release some support ADC items and we're done. SKT dominates Korea with triple ADC comps.

Yet ADC mains will still cry for more, because hurr durr 20-0 Rengar can 1-shot them and Morde will beat the crap out of them, if they just stand there.

For now, play melee champions specifically designed to kill ranged champs in lane Irelia Jax Yasuo Zed Fiora

A multi-ADC comp has serious issues if it doesn't get fed

Graves is by far the worst ADC to go against in the top lane. ESPECIALLY if you're melee.

If you are a melee champ top vs any ranged champ you will basically autolose...especially vs adcs. It is sad Riot is not gonna do anything about that but they have always favored ranged champs because "Shyvana vs Mundo boring wet noodle fight"...sad.

Ranged vs melee is always an big issue in league, and especially in soloQ very problematic. In coordinated teams, you can abuse the weaknesses of squishy ranged toplaners rather well(mostly their vulnerabillity to coordinated ganks), but in soloQ the life of the meele just becomes hell.

Especially in toplane, this is something that needs to be lloked at for a long time now. the current popularity of adc in other lanes just shows that the issue is getting worse rather than better(and that adc are broken as a class, seriously)

They over-buffed ADCs for absolutely no reason. There was no reason to buff them directly AND indirectly by buffing their items. Now they are very strong through all three phases of the game. If they are keeping this, they should ATLEAST get rid of random critical hits to balance it.

I dont think Marksmen are the real issue in all cases (Graves still op). I think it is the items for ADCs being so much more cheaper and then there are those items that synergize too well.

This really benefits Marksmen over Tanks and APCs. Jaugernauts are also at a disadvantage, but still scale quite well with some of the new stuff that they seem to even outperform certain marksmen so freaking well.

I have seen players perform very, very well as melee champs. And I can even attest i have succeeded, it is annoying, really annoying, but can be done. You will be poked hard, will fall so behind on CS. You will be outgunned items wise for most of the laning phase, or the whole laning phase, but you could use the squishyness to your advantage. If you are a Fiora, you will scale great and then become virtually unkillable. If you are Mundo, the same. Rammus, the same. Trundle, you scale pretty well. And Malphite, that Level 6 all in (Funniest most weird thing ever). Shoot, even CC queen AD-ish Tanky Leona.

And if you complain about Blue Ez in Low Elo... then you are bad. Why? Virtually every low elo Blue Ez sucks, so they are easily beatable. SUPER EASY. They build wrong, they cant position well, they cant mechanically do much well. You should be fine against one.

I agree. Played Cho'gath against Quinn top, it was difficult. There wasn't anything to do except QW, but she'd just E away. I could only wait until Flash was up to do something, but flash has a long cooldown, and hers was up whenever mines was.

It's annoying.

I played match as Renekton against Vayne. Holy shit, was that hellish, but, I managed to take control over lane after first back and even pick a kill on this self-peeling piece of sh*t (and she dared to mock me that I was lucky). I can say that he/she sucked at Vayne. Unfortunately, I still lost that match: my mid lane fed Zed and never ping that he is missing, bot lane was also feeding and finally, being the only guy worth any money for the kill, I got camped. That was the most miserable LoL experience in my life, even worse that playing as Vlad against Swain.

And tbh, Vayne fits perfectly for top lane. Her W means that you can kill everybody no matter what they build, her Q and E are awesome peeling mechanics against the likes of Renekton and Irelia. This is fcking cancer, maybe even more cancerous than Quinn top, against who you can at least itemize.

If I want to play my damn top laners,I should be able to do so without being abused by a Quinn/Graves top that has enough mobility and damage to zone me from everything.

Melees still have much better mid game spikes unless they fall really far behind. They can initiate and still provide decent damage at that point. Once something like Bami's/Sunfire or Gauntlet is completed, they can hold their own in the lane too.
