and if the answer is supposed to be for "shaming" reasons.. then why can we see people ranks... i would much rather have a feature were i can easily identify people who arn't jerks.. rather than people who "think their hot stuff".

It isn't even a good indicator whether or not somebody is an asshole. You can make one wrong joke, get fucked by the system, and then instantly declared a dickhead for 6 months until you're honor lvl 1. It rewards people who use the mute button, and people who make you feel good about being carried by them.

You simply honor the carry of the game, or honor no one which just feels wasteful.

With rank, the worst you could do is threaten to throw a match but that's also damaging you just as much.

if u say so.. i have been playing for over 5 years, i have never once been chat restricted or banned. i have never once seen a person threatening to report someone that wasn't toxic themselves threatening to report someone doing nothing wrong.
every single post i have EVER seen on the forum complaining about wrongful chat restriction/ banning has been wrong EXCEPT 1. (then again i don't look at the player behavior and moderation section because i have no need to)
i even got a free skin justicar

idk have it only show thier honor if they have honor 3 or higher then. honor 2 is where u start so it would only show honorable people.
people dont get banned or restricted for no reason, that is one thing i have noticed about this community.
i have been in plenty of other communities were u could have banned for no reason... this one imo doesn't do ENOUGH banning. i would be honestly be stricter than riot is now.
i mean i give the balance team hell becuase they ruin the fucking game.. but as long as it isn't COMPLETE trash like it was in 8.10.. the amazing job riot's other teams do makes me want to support the company.
if riots balance/design team actually could balance properly this game properly. this game would be growing faster than it was in season 2. there have been vast improvements in a LOT of areas.. the problem is i find it very hard to recommend when the reaosn i play the game is for fun.. and the balance team seems to want to break everything they possible can.

They flame to a pt where I gotta mute, they spam ping, etc. almost every game I report these people but I haven't got an instant feedback more than twice despite people acting like this damn near every single game, and the punishments themselves feel super random.
I've had a restrict like once and what was super weird abt it is that I barely said anything the games linked where i was reported & i can say i've been legit toxic in other occasions where I did not get restricts. Getting back to honor two took months of consistent play as well, climbing from low honor is slow as hell even tho i get honors regularly. So if somebody's honor was visible, it's highly likely that they've reformed or completed their punishment LONG before they raise their honor. Yet, a teammate would see honor and immediately judge that player before they even do anything which is just not productive. And if people I play with saw that shit they'd fuck w/ the low honor person / threaten them 4 sure so like rito might not do shit abt it but other players would defo harass lower honor players which would do the exact opposite of encouraging them to not be toxic
edit - i could literally climb from bronze to gold+ in the time it took me to get back past honor 2. i stopped typing after the restrict itself ended, yet i did not get back into positive honor for l i t e r a l months. it's really nice to have not had anyone else point it out while i was trying to raise it, and highly discourage riot from ever letting that be viewable

if i get morons in my unranked games it either doesn't bother me because its unranked, its funny because their so laughably bad. or it tilts me i have to play with morons... if its ranked... and i just spent 48 min getting a hard fought victory carrying 3 complete morons to their completely undeserved win with my 1 other decent teammate.. and the next game i get this

ranked is too fucking stressful. i know how good i am, based on how bad my teammates are compared to me who are "supposedly" my same elo.. and hoe easily i can completely stomp most players who have more than 1000 mmr above me assuming equal gold and they don't hard-counter me.
i don't need a "border" to prove it... would i like it? sure... but its not worth going through the torture to get.
i get more fed and have a better win ratio when playing with my plat friends vs plat opponents then i do with in silver vs complete noobs becuase my team is completely stupid.. ( or rather... their new and riot seems to think brand new players belong in silver when there is zero chance in hell they could ever climb out of bronze to get there for at least a year)
also in ranked i have to deal with the bullshitr riot is throwing out every patch. i dont have the time to keep up with this bullshit. i relearned nidalee jungle SIX TIMES in season 6.. im not doing that again.

People with honor 0 could have trouble finding people to play with maybe? I don't know just guessing. I know I prefer not to play with ragers and flamers...
