I mean if tanks can have randuims + thornmail in one cheap and effective item why do adcs have to spend over twice that gold to even begin their core build with 2 different items that are awful alone?
Except the new thornmail is worth 1300 gold, and not 2600+3600.

Figures it'd be you starting this post. Look at how the thornmail passive has changed. Its a fraction of the damage it used to be. Most of the thorn mail damage was always reflected % enemy damage. This is nothing. They also ditched the attack speed debuff on randuins.
But god foribid tanks finally get a gold efficient expensive item to build. Its not like given the past approach of only providing cheap defense items that tanks weren't falling off in their ability, oh you know, be tanks. Oh wait, yes they were.
