First turret is too much gold and makes it too hard to climb.

Yeah I know the stats and I'm not talking about that. Correlation doesn't mean causation. I'm talking about people using first turret to grief.

Top lane doesn't like his team? Well he can just give up first turret. And in a way that makes it not obvious when he's reported. Boom free gold for the enemy team, RIP your lead.

Both teams play by the same rules. It's not possible for a rule affecting everyone to make it hard for any individual to climb.

It makes it less consistent.

It's a way someone can "intentionally feed" without getting flagged if they don't like you.

This is ignorant.

The less control you have personally over the game, the harder it will be to climb consistently. It is a fact. Turret gold was a knee-jerk by Riot because they want pro play to look more like soloq.

Turret gold for both teams is a suggested way to deal with that. Honestly, games are getting too quick, considering the fact that almost everyone is completely awful at finding ways to end the game and still can do it by 30-35 minutes, a whole 20 minutes faster than what used to happen for bad players.

Snowball right now is done automatically, you no longer have to think about extending your lead through opportunities and decision making. Simply by being ahead of your opponent you just amass so much more gold than them over time increasingly without you doing anything at all specifically to extend that lead, it just happens.
