Why is Life Steal So Expensive?
I'd like to know why COMPLETE life steal items are so expensive.
Unless you're an auto attacker, these items are legitimately not worth their gold value.
Their prices range from 3400 to 3700.
Maw of Malmortius is priced at 3250, but it;s life steal is a condition-based passive with CD and a time limit.
The lifesteal relies on AD; so, like Lethality, it is easily mitigated by armor, especially thornmail.
But, given the cost of lifesteal, no one has to bother rushing thornmail unless it is part of their core build.
