If you STILL dont think "edge of night" is OP...

Here is something you can consider.

Nidalee. 20% more movement speed can cast active while spear is in the air pounces in with spell shield.

I AM A NIDALEE MAIN.

DON'T LET THIS ITEM GO THROUGH!!!!

You are literally removing her biggest weakness in the entire game with this...

if you think she is OP NOW...

Bear in mind If the spear hits at ANY point in time before the channel ends, the channel will cancel and the active will go on cooldown.

Taking or doing damage of ANY kind, will immediately end the channel. Is it a good item? Yeah; I really don't think it will be anything over the top. I'd be MUCH more worried about people combining this thing with hexdrinker / maw (moreso the former as its relatively cheap)

Where does it say that on the item active? that would certainly make a difference.. but even so.. then you just cast it before you throw and hope you have good aim...

its related to the definition of "channel" I believe

You're right.

Which is why I'd rather see EoN build out of a item 1028 and have HP instead of a item 1033 . Give it 200-225 HP (exact equivalent gold value is 236.25 HP, but a bit less is ok as HP is more universal).

Well, in terms of it being combined with Hexdrinker / Maw, I'd be worried not because of the amount of MR each provides together (its an issue but its possible to bypass) but because of the active of hexdrinker / maw, being COMBINED with the spell shield, its hard enough to take down a user of hexdrinker on a cooldown reliant mage (unless you're so far ahead you can just blow right through the shield). I'd much rather them just push Hexdrinker and Maw further and further away from assassins, because as it is now -5 AD and +10% CDR isn't really enough of a change to dissuade assassins from purchasing Maw, or just buying Hexdrinker and sitting on it until lategame.

I hear the channel gets interrupted if you get hit

But more importantly what difference does this actually make? Nidallee's movespeed is mostly due to a nonscaling dash not because she gets hypermega ekko style speed boosts.

And if her spear misses then what?

nidalee wont be in range if any abilities to be hit by at spear range... you can tell if a spear is going to hit before it lands...

plus if it misses? your have another spear in 6 more seconds.. the channel is 1.5 seconds.. the spellshield is 10 seconds on a 30 second cooldown. so you can still miss the first spear and the spellshield will still be up when you pounce in even the second hits.

it is literally going to be up 90% of the time you land a spear

and no.. her movement speed its not due to her dash. its due to her passive which gives 10% movement speed in bush or after leaving bush and 30% when moving toward a hunted target or 10% if running from a hunted target

Then nidalee also isn't in range to actually do anything to me and considering she's building AD and I can tell that her spear will hit before it lands the obvious thing to do here is gtfo unless I can take her with her mark on me.

But then I already know when her timer is going down and I am even more prepared to dodge her next spear. With the item active up and nidalee out of range for anything ive got no reason to stand around unless there's minions or something. Maybe an objective. Either way nidalee is hardly a threat as long as I am prepared to act after the spear. At the end of the day as long as I'm not playing like an idiot it just comes down to spears being punishing but in this case at least nidalee has to get in close to use it.

So you're saying that nidalee landing a spear at max range would matter without her 750 range dash?

... first off.. you seem to go to every one of my nidalee thread and dissagree with what i write regardless if what it is... if i said nidalee is weak and needs a buff.. you say she is "OP"

and now i saying this item is goign to make her absurdly OP and your saying it won't...

i dont even..

but anyways..

most of nidalee damage comes from her TAKEDOWN.. NOT her spear. and takedown also scales with AD...

if you can dodge the spear.. nidalee will never be able to do anything to to anyways.

So you're saying that nidalee landing a spear at max range would matter without her 750 range dash?

... her mobility is due to her passive, like i said... she only gets that 750 range pounce toward a hunted target.... they NEED to be hunted and she can ONLY dash to THEM.. otherwise its just a normal pounce... and somehow... i don't know the exact range of it...

no she obviously isn't going to close the gap after the spear land if pounce in on cooldown.. even with 30% movement speed toward them and a normal pounce you wont catch them unless you also use summoner 4 .

I don't recall discussing nidalee anytime this week.. or recently at all.

i dont even..

If she is OP I doubt it will be because of this.

but anyways..

most of nidalee damage comes from her TAKEDOWN.. NOT her spear. and takedown also scales with AD...

Meaning there is a massive delay between the actual broadcasting of her intent and the end resutl

if you can dodge the spear.. nidalee will never be able to do anything to to anyways.

she also wont be able to turn off her item channel.

i.e. she landed her spear and the rest of the combo you mention in the OP goes off.

no she obviously isn't going to close the gap after the spear land if pounce in on cooldown.. even with 30% movement speed toward them and a normal pounce you wont catch them unless you also use summoner 4 .

Which makes the combo as a whole, including edge of night's active clunky at best. Honestly she'd be better off with item 3156

I, too, can pounce at you with a spell shield item 3102 .

Make way, for I am The Nidalee Main.

you would almost never build item 3102 on nidalee because nidalee isnt a tank it doesn't give offensive stats or the move speed of edge of night

even when building MR and HP you would get item 3065 because it gives cdr, much more HP, and a huge increase to your heal

edge of night provides her the movement speed... and while she would like to have AP,and like i said earlier her Takedown is the majority of her damage.. and that DOES scale with AD. plus it means she wont be 100% useless once her abilities are on cooldown, because the heal/ attak speed steroid + the AD will make her autos at least better than normal ap champs...

hell if you guys think the item is fine.. go ahead.. let it go through.

but don't tell me i didn't freaking warn you...
