Similar as to how you can see the summoner spells. It would help when someone forgets to change for others to remind them. Because if they notice that say, Ezreal is running Aftershock, they will want to say something before the game starts.

Although it's programmed to prevent champions who can't possibly use a rune from bringing it. So he'd be switched to Grasp automatically.
I want to be able to see their mastery points too tbh.
Why not show their Rank, Mastery Points, Summoner Level and all that too? XD
Take it one step further, just don't allow people to talk, everyone will have a better time.
Its also useful to see if JG malph is going aftershock or thunderlords.
