does anyone else feel themself letting go of league and playing more of the fun queues? i have been trolling and playing aram/twisted treeline 3x more if ranked is going to become pointless. Anyone else feel this way?
Packun Flower3 votesThe removal of soloQ has really destroyed the true competitiveness of this game. Rifts pretty much a joke now without it. Removing SoloQ in the first place really was one of the worst idea's Riot ever did and it really came back to bite them in the ass.
I plan to hit gold in ranked and then thats it, I will never touch ranked again unless SoloQ comes back. I feel really bad for the higher Elo's though as I think their competitive play was hit and destroyed the hardest with the removal of it. I am also seeing alot of people simply quitting league and moving on to other games like Dota2 or other MOBA's, as the removal of SoloQ from league has essentially made LoL a laughing stock among the MOBA genera.
In the end I'm really saddened and ashamed of what LoL has become. It really started going downhill in season 5 but season 6 has utterly destroyed what greatness this game used to be. I'm sure I'll be down-voted into oblivion because in the end those who defend Riot hoping to get free RP and skins and stuff will always be around, but the community speaks for itself. People have said "We want SoloQ" and Riot has said "No" thus ending what greatness League used to be.
