Played first ranked game after few days, whole team doing great, but our top died 3 times then decided to go afk. Like are you kidding me ? I have to lose 20 lp because some idiot doesn't wanna get carried ? I just can't understand this game has been going on for 8 years and they still have no solution if 1 person rage quits and ruins your game. Better just give me -20 lp and god knows how much my mmr went down. This is so stupid, you have to grind through 0/15 players feeding, getting boosted, but you also have to grind through rage quits too, because "it would be abused hehe xddddddddddddddddddddd". Nobody in their right mind would go afk to get loss prevention, if you just give afk players more LP loss. Who the fuck would afk intentionally and lose 30 lp, just to get his premade buddy loss prevented ?

Have you ever played an arena game with a ladder before? Players will do ANYTHING to exploit the system. Among competitive PvP games, win trading is common, manipulating matchmaking by playing at odd hours of the day is common, boosting is common, dodging strategically is common. If there is a way to game the system then people will game the system because people see the system as a game.
