Why is jayce considered perfectly fine for toplane

While elise and nidalee arent?

Yep true jayce hasnt been dominant for a while now but thats not my point.

The three have the exact same lane playstyle, poke till they are low and then all in. Elise was banished to the jungle in season 3 nidalee shortly after her rework in season 4 or 5. Yet jayce remains in toplane.

No im not asking for him to become a jungler ratjer some work be done to elise and nida so that they can become laners again. Elise mana costs and some semi decent scalings and taking power away from nidas spear and shifting ot elsewehere

Nidalee wasn't kick out of top lane because she was too good or anything like that she was kicked out due to constant nerfs due to JUNGLE nidalee being too good. riot didn't care about champion specific play bases back in the day like they seem to do now. Riot plans on trying to bring lane nidalee back but unfortunately at least one of the designers who will be trying to bring her back to lane said if she can't jungle too he wont go through with it. The lane nidalee player base has been giving them tons of feed back on how to fix her for lane without changing her jungle power but we have no idea if they will listen to us or not.

Not exactly. She did get nerfed after she was a little abusive in the top lane back in season 4 but those nerfs didn't hit her that hard she was still just as viable as she was before the buffs that made her that strong in the first place. Basically the problem came from her being picked by people who didn't actually play nidalee when she had previously been a "pocket" pick or just picked by people who constantly played her.
