His abilities can be spammed like crazy and when he has lost chapter he can spam them with no mana issues. You cannot stay in lane if you have below 300 health because his ult will kill you. He feels frustrating to play against and his ult is a ticking timebomb.
Verdade1 votesUhm, what? His R is much weaker for punishing overextending now than it was before. You don't counter VK by standing far away, you counter him by being close to his squidface. Also, build HP instead of MR, or even better MS, he has 4 skillshots afterall. And call your jungler, he's extremely exposed and weak to flanks

His R was much stronger before because it made his damage so front loaded.
Also they removed his unique MRpen build which had ununsual early powerspikes
Marshbouy2 votesITS NOT ALL ABOUT THE TRUE DAMAGE. THE FRONT LOADED DAMAGE FROM THE GODDAM INCREASED SCALING CLEARLY MEANS IT DEALS MORE DAMAGE. THE TRUE DAMAGE BONUS SKYROCKETS THE DAMAGE INTO STUPID LEVELS

MrPharmD1 votes4 out of 4 of his abilities are skill shots, one of which is blocked by minions. If you were being zoned, it's probably because you couldn't dodge his skill shots.
Marshbouy1 votesAre you assuming he can't predict my movements? That doesn't make his true damage fine. I've played vel'koz and if you can land an E from sheer luck you kill them. If they get stuck in minions, you kill them. If you can land your Q, the slow will most likely result in their death
