The border represents my accomplishment and skill, of course it is the player that matters but it is always nice and arguably, a laudable goal to get a representation of said skill/accomplishment.
That's a really great argument.
Yes, I understand if my skill level is high enough, I should have nothing to fear.... but the current system encourages boosting and I am afriad to get more boosted teammates. I left a link that shows that I have lost previous games, I cannot prove that my teammates were boosted but they were pure shit.
There is a huge difference between a bad teammate and a boosted one. You cannot carry a boosted teammate , let alone 4. This is where skill no longer matters and that is the source of my anxiety, the reason I can't play the game I love.
Fuck , that's another good argument.
What's wrong with that? we are at the end of the season and I'd like a representation of my skill for the next season. Is that wrong?
I don't think I will ever be master. I am very satisfied being in Diamond Pride, one of the elite few that comprises a fraction of percentage of the community (0.6%? not sure, I haven't checked in years)

Shit, 1.8%.... maybe I should start working towards master, I didn't realize Diamond had gotten flooded.
You are making some very good points, sir. I say this without irony or sarcasm; You have changed my outlook when it comes to League of Legends.... next season I will shoot for Master.
Bad argument.
You are making a false dichotomy. It doesn't necessarily have to be one or the other, you know.
It's nice that you took my post on consideration.
I hope you understand that some of the points i made are not universal truths, but instead stimulative points to help you figure out where you are, what is your mindset and what actually are your goals on league. The goal is to help you to overcome your anxiety and accept the competitive person you are.
When i said you had to choose between your true elo or your fake elo i didn't said that because you can't have both at the same time, actually is very likely that if your true elo is high your fake elo will be high too. If that wasn't true i would never have been diamond or master myself.
I said that because if you focus on your true elo, experience shows that your fake elo will rise naturally, you are going to enjoy more the game and will feel like you can control by accepting your anxiety by not focusing on losing. If you focus on your fake elo your true skills will start getting rusty and you will start focusing on your team mates as enemies instead of friends as you can't win by yourself. As you start seeing losing as a problem instead as a result of factors , you will focus your energy on hating the fact you are losing instead of what you could have done to be better, even if the result would be the same.
As a consequence every mistake your friends do will suddenly be a huge thing even if you did worst and a good team will only be a team that can win carrying some of your mistakes.
As i always say to my students there is 2 bad things that show your mind set is not in the league your true skill actually are.
1- If your enemies do a good number of things you never saw before, can't understand or aren't able to respond.
2- If you can play doing less than your best, even playing bad and still win.
Think this way, if you randomly play with people that sometimes cover your mistakes, why that would be a good thing?
This mean they are playing better than you. They are able to make more difference than you could and that FOR SURE, next matches they will be on the other team. If not the same players, people that also can win games when one of their team is losing.
If you feel your teammates sometime can do a lot when you are not doing so much, that is not "wow, good team, gj guys" like most of people like to think, is more like "i need to train more to be like them because i will lose a lot".
I hope you can control your anxiety by accepting it and the fact you are a competitive player that like to show others how you improved. Anxiety is a way your body have to generate energy because something matters to you. Maybe you just need to find another way to show your progress to your friends that is not around winning or your elo. Maybe start recording your plays or aim to have a very good match history even if you lose the match.
Chances are that by doing that you are going to win more and raise your elo by consequence.
In summary: Don't push yourself to have an A+, push yourself to understand what you need to study. By doing that your A+ will come.
OBS:. About the dynamic Q thing about elo boosting, that is just plain your mind not wanting to accept you need to play better than others [seeing your history show you are not doing your best] . Remember that even people that elo boost are players just like u who sometimes are on your team and help you to win. Statistic says that for 10 games you lose by someone elo boosting you are going to win other 10 because they are in your team.
This means that the actual impact they have is very small, what actually make sense when you see all good players smurfing until their natural elo without a problem every time. This might affect 1 best of 3 or best of 5, but should be no problem overall.
