And, er, I don't know if there's really a precedent for this. Has anyone actually been banned or punished for saying "kill yourself" within appropriate context, or is this purely hypothetical?

yeah the ban gets lifted after an appeal, but the guy was asking if its, possible to get punished, which it might be, even if erroneously
