This is the one thing that I experience more than anything else in the game. Especially when I'm with a premade I'm the odd one out and I am harassed and bullied until I mute everyone. When I lose lane I already feel bad enough. I don't need people telling others to report me for trolling when I'm 4/5/4.
I think this behavior should be punished heavily. The whole "report X" mentality is pretty toxic.

Riot just recently clarified that asking someone to report others is allowed, if you do it once, for a valid reason, and it swiftly drops into ban-territory if it is used as harassment.
I have seen countless brats banned or restricted for spamming "omg report XXX so bad". They come here and cry about it, like they expect it is ok behavior.
Mataka Tek1 votesNormally I would say you have a valid argument. But your player name is a reportable offense and in my experience, almost always assoc. with trolls. So, just report yourself or change your name.

My observations of the system lead me to believe you'll not get any repercussions unless you're actively being an -ist or a -phobe. So, you can pretty much swear someone into oblivion as long as you're very non-denominational about it.

The real trick is to tell your bullies you're some sort of race, religion or other persuasion. Then, let the -isms and -phobias roll in, report them in endgame with detailed descriptions of what they said, and let new-age social justice work for you.
You could also do what I do and mute anyone you play with in ranked or normals. It's been my best mileage.
