Why not just make Sewn Chaos Amumu and Blitzcrank a good behavior reward instead of wasting them?

The honor system is getting an update anyways, this would be the perfect time to give them out to well-behaved players. It's been months and I'm really starting to feel bad that these skins never went through because a few people on the boards talked shit about them. They weren't ultimate skins but they weren't anywhere near bad enough to just throw away models that were already made. If there are no plans to revise those skins and ship something similar, the current sewn chaos models should be shipped live as gifts. They were 100% ready so it's just plain sad to throw them away.

A handful of dissenters on the boards do not speak for everyone. I think it was unfair to the people who developed these skins to just waste them. They were good. Not jaw-dropping. Not bad. But perfectly fine. Honestly I would have paid RP for these skins, I don't see any reason to believe that these skins were unfit to be shipped live.

I doubt riot would just brush aside the time and effort to make these skins just because a minority(?) of the community criticised them.

However their justification falls a bit flat when there are worse skins live in the game. Nevertheless low quality is a legitimate reason to not include them since if they do not meet the standards now, things will just get worse as time passes.

Giving away skins that riot finds lacking seems to be a strange message to send to well-behaved players.

They said that if the skins werent up to their standards, giving them out for free would be EVEN WORSE because then everyone would have the lame skins, and that'd shift perceptions of skins overall. If anything, I'd ask that they just sell them at an inflated price and only during some exclusive event, that way the people who really want them could have them but few others would see them.

Dont think Riot would adhere to "skins not good enough to make money off of becoming free rewards for good behavior", as that just sounds sleazy.

Also Riot has other methods of getting player opiniom besides NA boards, so its not just a few people on the boards. Also, they internally could've been dissatisfied with the skin

I'd rather they give us top caliber skins for our good behavior instead of last years throw away reject skin that didn't make the cut due to lack of quality

I really liked both skins and was planning on purchasing both skins. Just another reason to hate both the boards and the league subreddit.

I loved the design of Sewn Chaos Blitzcrank and Amumu, and I wish we still got them. Maybe if they were upped to Moo Cow Alistar quality, people would buy them. Moo Cow Ali was only 975 RP, and it got new animations, a new recall, and more. If the Sewn Chaos skins got that kind of love (albeit, with a higher cost) people may receive them a bit better.
