This botting problem has gotten completely out of control. This is unacceptable.

First of all, to the Rioter who removed my post from gameplay, you're completely delusional. This issue has the single biggest impact on gameplay of anything in the history of league of legends. It has nothing to do with player behavior because there are no people playing, it's scripts.

I lost after trying to stop the fed as fuck Heimerdinger from pushing into nexus and massacring everyone in his path. I've had to deal with this at least 5 times. It's next to impossible to carry 4 feeding bots unless you're an adc.

I'd say in 99% of my games there's at least 1 bot, in 80% of my games there's 2 bots. If you were a new player or had new players on your team, you'd lose these games. The IP boost I paid for is worthless because I lose half my games since there's clearly more bots than players.

I'd expect this issue in some sort of low budget MMO 10 years ago maybe, but why the hell is such a successful company allowing this to happen? Even very outdated games have bot detection that would never let the botting issue become this bad. Again, I'm just amazed that anyone spends their money on this game when PvE games aren't even playable anymore. This is an outrageous insult.

I can't believe people are defending the bots just because it's vs ai. It's wrong that this many bots are being allowed. There's no logical reason to allow it.

Riot makes plenty of money and has a fairly large team. Very primitive games with smaller teams have better AI detection software.

No, it wasn't. There are two VGU teams. They are separate. Yorick was started before Ryze. Ryze just needed less art assets (he has only 1 model) so his took less time than Yorick the minionmancer (4 models plus the visual effects that need to be tested on every single champion he could possibly ult).

It's really bad when you can see more than 1 bot on your team, they pretty much move in sync/turret dive in sync/ and waste heal at the same time when everyone is full health. Once the other team sees this they can immediately tell it's a bot and abuse it for easy kills.

I'm unranked because I'm not even level 30... Rank has nothing to do with it. Heimerdinger had 300+ AP shortly into the game and had a Malphite with ult off cooldown protecting him, as well as a Kayle and Nami. As Sona I had no waveclear so I had to engage or allow them to take the inhibitor + nexus turrets.

The problem is that riot does absolutely nothing to address anything that isn't "he said a bad word to me". I reported a guy who was placing a pink ward by the krugs monster camp and just aa it to reset so that he can go afk but not be treated like an afk by the system. I took screen shots and sent in a ticket about it.

They have literally done nothing. The player is still playing games, and still going 0-0-0 while being level 1 in just about every single game. It's bullshit.

Riot is evidently not allowed to acknowledge the bot problem in any way since that might draw more attention to the fact that these IP farming programs exist. The good news is that they're relatively rare in SR and in other modes eventually your MMR will rise to the point where you're not matched with them anymore.

I had to wade through bots for weeks when I started doing PVP in ARAM. But I did make some friends among the actual humans I encountered out there in the bot wasteland.

Yeah I'm seeing them a LOT more lately as well. I used to see them all the time when I first started, then I started not seeing them as much. Quit playing for a while and come back this spring and I've seen them in almost every other game. A few nights ago I had 3 bots in one game and all 4 teammates were bots in the next game. Playing late at night/early morning and the problem becomes extremely worse.

The sad thing in the 3 bot game my teammate refused to believe they were bots and started flaming/blaming me LOL, people cannot identify bots especially the people who always reply to these topics 'Why don't I ever see any bots?" most likely cause you're not even paying attention and looking for them like I am. I've seen like 6-8 different types of scripts and most of them are pretty obvious to me because of the extremely predictable movement and casting spells as soon as they're off CD instead of waiting to cast it, and many other signs.

People keep saying 'Riot bans them in waves' is not very reassuring, because every time I look at a bot's match history they're going scores like 0/10+/0 in at least 6 games in a row before they came into my game.

And a really bad thing is some of these scripts are getting better (most just feed but there's a select few that are on par with intermediate bots) and I'm afraid these will never be banned. They play super defensively, get decent CS, even ping and say a few words like 'Push, mid, wtf, frozen, lol', but they will almost never approach enemy champions to avoid 'feeding' detection that is usually a dead giveaway it's a script. If enemy champs come to them they might hit them once or twice but then immediately they run as far back as possible then recall every time.

This is one of the reasons why I play beginners bot most of the time. I can't go to a higher difficulty because of the bots feeding and just being useless for the rest of the game. I'm afraid when I see someone picking Ghost and Heal in the champion select because I automatically assume they are bots which I'm correct 90% of the time. I can't even try out new champs because I'm worried about not being good with them and losing because my team is full of bots. Now, I'm more afraid of playing against bots than I was of pvp. Seriously, bots should be a place for new people to get used to the game, practice new champs, how your champ skills work , but now, you can't do anything without worrying about having bots in your team.

They really need to do something against bots, it's annoying and frustrating when you have to deal with those sort of stuff after having a bad day. A mode that should be extremely easy for everyone is more stressful than playing pvp in my opinion. And don't get me started in the sudden amount of people (mostly ranked players) playing bots with Tahm Kench just for the purpose of trying to kill their own teammates.

Why the stress over losing a co-op vs AI game? I understand it's not fun to lose, but it's certainly not a situation where you should be scared to lose.

Losing an't fun, and when your new to the game, fun is the most important thing. This is really hurting league and if it an't dealt with now, we are going to have much less new blood in the game.

A lot of people play coop for their first win because they don't have time for pvp. If they can't get it, they just wasted a bunch of their time.

I spend most of my time playing co-op vs AI, because honestly I don't think I'm THAT good for normals. I do play pvp but just in the weekends when they put the special modes (Poro king, Hexakill, etc). AI is supposed to be an easy mode to get small amounts of IP or just get the win of the day faster. If you end up with a bot or two on your team it becomes stressful because you can't communicate with them and they won't stop feeding the enemy. I don't care about losing if I'm with new players learning, I'm totally okay with that, but losing because of bots it's unfair.

I rarely play normal blind at all since every time I play i get stomped and told to uninstall by my team =/. No mercy for the new guy.

Some people can be really stupid towards new players, just ignore them and keep playing you'll eventually find really nice people who won't stomp you like your team did. My experience with the Rotation Queue have been amazing a bunch of really nice people everytime I play those modes, you should try them!

Carrying a game. Against and with bots. Let that sink in, then you'll see how much of a problem it is. Now imagine a new player, around level 12, playing a game with bots that feed. Now you see the full problem. Now delete this post

Well, here's my reasoning as to why you're an idiot for believing he is boosted

  1. Diamond players CANNOT, and WILL NOT be capable of carrying any one game, be it them vs a full team of bronzies. They simply could not be in top, mid, bot and jungle all at the same time to stop the opposing team from farming to 18 first and winning
  2. Imagine you being in a team full of botters. They have fed the opposing Ahri to 18, when you are only at 10. Try pulling yourself out of THAT hole

I suggest you remove both of these posts before more people come running to tell you that you're stupid for saying this so you don't have the humility of being told 'You're wrong'

im thinking i can use the new player hextech chest, farm up ip, buy the random champ shard and just keep disenchanting till i get enough essence and the champ i want

Essentially bots yes, using a program to automatically control your character for you to gain exp/IP usually, but most of them are written terribly.

If that's the only things they do then I can still cope with that, by abusing the fact I'm up against bots and proxy farm to stop any hard pushing. Bots would go to your lane, steal all the cs and exp before they proceed to feed, leaving you absolutely resourceless. That's about the worst thing your team can possibly do to you, strengthen opponents and weaken you.
