If new Poppy uses her R while the enemy in within her W do they not get sent flying?

Poppy's W only stops effects that her enemies apply to themselves or their allies (so it'll stop dashes, jumps Thresh W pull etc). It doesn't affect displacements applied to enemies however, so if you're playing Tristana with an allied Poppy her W won't interrupt your ult's knockback.

That's awesome.

Wait. It stops Thresh lantern escapes? A way exists now, after all this time? Praise be to Poppy!

Poppy support as a counterpick to Thresh!

Hooked carry? Nope! Lantern? Nope! Camping the side bush? Lol you're dead!

Pah Thresh, there is finally something that Counters Blitz!

I don't think it would work on blitz hooks on your ally.

I fear everyone is gonnaplay poppy into a hypermobile champ ( Kali, yas, ahri) and the mains of those people will complain that poppy is op cuz they can't dash everywhere all the time.

On a side note, will the concept of her w active be used on other champions?

LordGeovanni1 votes

her w is already stupidly low in that spot light

Ahri wouldn't have a problem with Poppy. Ahri can't miss a charm if Poppy is that close to her and her Q will give her the movement speed needed while Poppy is under the effects of charm to get tot the edge of Poppy's W and use her ult to escape.

(Smacks table with fists) That's the last straw, I am definitely taking new Poppy bot as a support now.

Does it stop enemy Tahm's Devour on their allies?

I'd imagine not. They're not dashing, they're being eaten, which is more like a blink, and Tahm just gets a speedup, not a dash.

animation suggests dash

Oh god yes.

Deep Terror Nami2 votes

It stops dashes specifically, not movement. At least that's what the description says.

What you probably could do, though, is be between them and their base so your Ult knocks them towards you, and immediately E them. That might work.

ProfDrDeath1 votes

You cannot. The ults description specifically says that the victims are untargetable till they hit the ground again.

Deep Terror Nami1 votes

I see, thx.

Unpaladin2 votes

Even if it had that kind of interaction, the enemy is rendered untargetable the moment they are hit by the R. Nothing can stop them from flying.

Can't imagine puppy's W affects cced enemies.

Her ult also notes that the targets are untargetable when they're knocked up/back too... So I guess they won't get stopped! :)
