Anyone that says "It's just normals"

Should be banned from normals, they obviously don't appreciate it. They can stick to bots and for fun game modes. Or ranked for serious play in which they apparently don't need to practice for.

Smash Hit (NA) 6 days ago in > To the people who say Normals don't matter...

No video game matters. At the end of the day your sitting in front of a computer on your free time.

It's a flaw of the game to require people to keep their teammates happy. There isn't even a line to draw - a single physical mistake can send your teammate on tilt.

Whenever I say "it's just a normal" it's usually because someones going commando rage 5000 and barking at people. At the end of the game, you gain IP/EXP regardless. People want to win, however, it really is just a video game whether its ranked, normal, or aram.

The only way to have fun is to accept people will make mistakes and try to avoid over thinking the situation. If someone on your team is just a douchebag feeder, so be it. You can't change what they want to do in their free time.

I Agree.

If you join a normal game and throw over and over or feed or pick something stupid to lane then I report you.

I dont play ranked because it is a toxic pool that if I join I will push to get as high as I can instead of trying to enjoy the game.

So to me Normal Draft is my Ranked

You coming in and wasting 20-40 minutes of my time = report.

The crowd who says "it's only normals" are the same bog-dwellers that buy a champ and jump straight into ranked. They get into normals and it's like super-happy-joke-time.

They should get a weeks ban if they join ranked with a champ they haven't owned for a week.

The salt. Is real.

Normals is for effing around after a few drinks or testing out new builds. It's not ranked.

KyroRayne3/14/2016, 8:41:46 PM2 votes

How about no.

I play normals when I don't feel like try harding in ranked. So I don't let little things in normals annoy me or tilt me like I'd do in ranked.

So yes, "it's just normals" because it has absolutely nothing to do with anything else. It literally is just normals. So please don't act like every game should be played like a ranked game where I have to get every cs, have to secure every objective, and have to play perfectly and never make a mistake.

I test builds, play new champs, play old champs that I haven't played in a while, and play a different role that I suck in because I need practice BECAUSE NORMALS DON'T MATTER AGAINST ANY RANKED STATS. It's a sandbox that I get to play against other players. Winning and losing aren't detrimental to anything. It's just another game. Queue up and try again.

I will always try my best in a normal game, but yes I am going to eventually have to play new champions against real people instead of just bots, and normals is the best place to do that.

It's like when I played Jungle Yi for the first time the other day and people blamed the loss on me and I had to explain that Jungle is currently my weakest role, hence why I am trying to get better at it. Jungle is not a thing in bot games... So where else do you expect me to practice?

I will never use the "just normals" excuse for performing poorly, but that doesn't mean I am going to apologize for trying something new.

for fun game modes.

I just know you the type of asshole who rages in the One For All Lobby because the team picked a "garbage" champion. God forbid people have fun.

It's kinda like what normals are for: fun, trying new things out, chilling, trolling a bit with friends, they're just normals, they don't weight on you so you can take it easy. Maybe riot should add different queues for "tryhard normals" and "chill normals", but this is a stupid idea (even though it would enable you to report people for messing around in the "serious" normals). I also get frustrated after I try my hardest to play a serious game but someone tells me "it's just a normal" but in the end they're right and I can't pretend other people to not have fun only 'cause a random stranger (me) wants to tryhard, I might rage on skype/alone but I usually won't really bring it in chat.

Dead post or not reading this entire post just shows the real problem with the game the community, no one wants to care about anything no one cares what happens in the normal games and the people that do care are seen as crybabys for having a bad experience that could have been avoided no common courtesy

  • People would rather say things like "go play ranked to try hard" but like any of us here know youll also find people that dont care in ranked what do we say then? Go try super ranked to try hard? The point is the playerbase as a whole should attempt to try and put forth effort in league its not a single player experience where your mistake only hurts you everyone is effected on your team and the enemy team negative and positive if that is to much effort for you as a "decent" human being to muster then hard truth is you should not be playing league of legends to satisfy your "fun" need

Calm down it is just normals.

People only say "it's just normals" after some emotionally fragile drama queen busts a blood vessel and freaks out over said normal.

The obvious solution is for the sissies who freak out over a mere normal game to stop being such raging pussies.

DrNova3/14/2016, 9:24:39 PM1 votes

Its just normals. Kat support may not be ideal, but its probably fun, and because its normals prolly a 50/50 chance to work.

You wanna tryhard, go to ranked.

You want to, you know, have FUN PLAYIMG A VIDEO GAME, play normals and do wtf you want.

Stop complaining because other people aren't having fun in a way you approve of.

A game mode is a game mode either it being norm or rank or aram. Should be a natural reaction to compete to win I do agree. To separate modes and how you play them tends to greatly impact other players. Which brings up your posting. Frustration. Should they be banned? No. Start doing that then where does that leave the other modes. Eventually you would be banned from any game mode but an active account. See how the train rolls? Had a bad experience like all of us but doesn't mean every norm game your going to find that. I do agree though that more people in norm play tend to be mote shrug the shoulder type rather than all in let's win

Athenes Lulu3/14/2016, 10:51:40 PM1 votes

Beldair3/14/2016, 11:24:43 PM1 votes

Ranked= Serious Play

Normals= Casual play to try new things and have fun.

I don't do bot games since fighting bots won't help you learn anything...that's what Norms are for....fighting real ppl will help you learn the champ and adapt to the situations that are presented.

You saying ban anyone that says it's just Normals is ridiculous.... Most of the ones that tell ppl to "chill out, it's just Normals" play norms to relax and have fun playing a game they like.

You have problems with that....then play twisted treeline or ranked.

Definitely Bait3/15/2016, 12:25:47 AM1 votes

Kat supports, double jungle and the like are pushing the line a bit towards trolling yes.. But the lee sin suicide diving can be legitimately learning. A big part of playing champions is knowing and testing limitations. Actually sometimes it's best to just all in at every possible chance when you're learning a champ. It'll teach you their limitations. Feeding hard (Not 0/10/0 hard I mean more like 0/3/0 or so) literally is a valuable part of the learning process. It lets you gauge and understand a champion's power spikes, strengths, and weaknesses. Normals are the perfect place to do this kind of thing because they're not really that important in comparison to ranked games.
