Ranked is set up for failure.

You can't possibly convince me that it's not. I can be on a win streak with players who have over 100 games in Ranked + 100K experience on their champs, and then suddenly get a game in my PROMOS with players who have maybe 2 games in total after their promos, less than 1K experience on their champs, and almost 0 positive KDA in their match history. That to me says Riot specifically tenders to keeping high ranked players in higher ranks and low players in lower ranks without any consideration to bridge the two.

I failed my p1 promos 5 times despite crushing games once I lost them

I shit you not it's fucking set up. They have some shit algorithm that sets you to be automatically placed with non-ranks or lower ranks when you start having win streaks. It's a fucking croc

Let me guess. You start a win streak at 3 games?

explain other games with ranked then? Are they rigged to keep high elo players high and low elo players low? How would any players get high elo? The problem is you are doing something wrong. You can consitantly get to your promos which actually raises your MMR because you are winning more then you are losing.

Keep trying you'll get there.

I will try and find what the MMR range looks like to skip Promos. Its really easy to Fail them over and over by lobby dodging. I don't know what values this season uses for catchup mechanics.

Man I wish folks would use a reasonable value for the start of "streaks" 3 so low it shows up dam near always in any sample size. Even for 50% odds.

I don't know what more I can do. I've been more positive in my games, which has positively change the way games have went... but like I don't know how I can possibly do much as a support or a mid or an adc, when say my Top laner goes 1/10 against a Riven in 10 minutes... or my mid goes 1/10 against a Yasuo mid... or my adc goes 1/10 against a Jinx... I just don't get what I can do... I ban the worst champs to play against in low elo.

You can't blame team mates. Everyone has bad games. There is a discord called the clash zone. They offer free coaching. or speak to a high elo player. They can analyze your games and help you learn to see what you are doing wrong.

Can´t say the same. Not for promos.

But in my experience the 3 to 5 matches directly after the promos are broken. Made the point last year after rushing through silver. Don´t know why but I´d won nearly every match between Silver3 and Gold5 except the 2 up to 5 after every promo. Similar now at my NA-account. Even only the Gold promo done now and gold elo there is really.... strange anyway ^^. No reason why I should go 8w2l before, 3-1 in promo; whole matches gold, still 29LP per win, and then lose 4 in a row with mates (especially adc´s) showing performances which are are pretty questionable. I mean this can happen randomly once after a promo. But I´d made the point last year in a forum for 4 matchup-after-promo in a row within few weeks. And it is not dependend on elo. Even I don´t know how the system could be tuned such selective (and why it should).

When you're on a winning streak, don't stop until your goal. Once you hop off it's over and you're gonna get pushed back down.
