I hope Karma's rework will finally give her something cool and unique because she is literally the most generic mage in the game right now.

Sion's shield used to explode at the end of duration... or if you retrigger the skill...

I think the skill element is a key difference here. Karma's shield bomb was point-and-click value, creating a huge swing of health with the push of a button.

Senna's ult is a skillshot. It doesn't always deal damage, and gives the enemy a substantial warning before it goes off. While it is global, it also doesn't always have the support there to follow up and continue supporting. Senna gets one shot, on an extremely long cooldown.

The most generic Mage(Support) in the game is by far Morgana, her kit is literally Miss your Q, you're doing LITERALLY NOTHING for 12 - 6 sec depends on CD, at least Karma has HER Q for Slow, W for a possible Root and her E for Movement, while Morgana is a Sitting duck with or w.o her BS E

Those are two different things.

Sennas doesn't explode and deal damage from the same instance. Hers is a shot that the if it hits an enemy it causes damage while if it hits an ally it shields them. It can do them both at the same time but it is not the shield that is the source causing the damage.
