How to fight against volibear....??

So, he's fast and can't be kited. He's tanky and he does the same, if not more, damage than an ADC. I was playing cassiopeia and well, even slowing him with my W won't work because of his Q. He stops me from running back under my turret because he throws me behind himself. Even if I manage to ult him, it's only to get away because I can't kill him quick enough. Other people I talked to are also having trouble with him. What do you do against him? As a jungler, he's extremely deadly because he's fast, tanky, and prevents you from going back to your turret. Even flash won't really save you.

Kite him and keep range.

His q is only movement speed, he has no blink or dash.

It isn't that easy though. If you followed your own advice just now and possibly the other advice you have, you'd be challenger by now.

You know, he needs to run through your entire frontline to get to you when positioned right.

With all stuns and slows your team has, he should not be able to get to you in the first place.

He is strong when flanking or catching off-position targets, but he can't just run through your whole team without getting punished.

Yes but that doesn't work when you're the only one with cc or he just has too much health to 1v5 due to his passive. Anyway, there's still the other 4 members of the enemy team to worry about.

So he has no general weaknesses and it takes a few counterpicks to beat him in a 3-5 v 1 with at least 3 champions having CC since nobody can really burst him down, correct..?

Kite him... when he gets too near you cc him.

You know, Garen gets movement speed from his q too, DrMundo from his Ult.

It's all the same against that Champions, simply outrange them.

Buy Rylai's on Cass to kite Volibear, lol.

He doesn't do nearly as much damage as an ADC.

One good weakness is his passive...if it's on cool down your good to CC him as much as possible to kill him otherwise he'll just Regen through your damage. As said have a slow of some kind, if your playing a melee in your face champ it better be Riven, Darius, Gnar, even Garen cause if his silence. If ranged/mage you can kite much easier, if mage get Ryalis.

If he's jungle your best thing is wards...lots of them, because of his Q if he is good and you don't have any CC he will flash/flip you. The comment about a volibear flinging a minion instead if you, I don't even know how that's possible unless he's trying to spam click you.

I play alot of Volibear jungle and I love it, a team without wards will lose pretty quick only cause of his fling and slow on his E the ADC and midlander can clean up from there and if the volibear wants to really be a meany, he will max W and literally eat a good chunk of health.

TLDR: cc and poke are his worst enemy it's the only way to controll him.

You stun or slow him when he Q's. Volibear is easily kited because his only way to gap close is to "run at you". You can also step in front of minions when he Qs and he will flip them instead of you.

I think the issue with volibear is more is passive and his early damage, not his mobility. You are also playing a relatively immobile champion. Cass is a hypercarry that needs time to get strong. You could also build a hextech item for the extra dash, but I don't know if that is an optimal build path for Cass.

unless you have your team with you and a front line to get behind.. try to find a wall nearby to dash or flash over...

even as Nidalee i cant escape a Volibear unless i get a good wall pounce or am near a LONG stretch of bushes i can run through

how to kill the bear .... Chogath Darius Elise Fiora Trundle Vayne . champs that have true damage or can steal his stats. like Trundle he can easily be cced. things like summoner 14 help. or items like item 3812 item 1416 item 3034 item 3151 item 3165 item 3033 item 3153
