kai'sa is overpowered, so rageblade gets nerfed

why? why not just nerf kai'sa then? No one else is above even a 51% winrate who uses rageblade

Honestly Guinsoos is just a toxic item. It should NOT have been reworked into what it is. It's borderline unbalanceable at this point. It will always be too strong or too weak on its builders

"Toxic item" What's toxic about it? How is it "unbalanceable"?

The item right now is balanced on its users.

EDIT: LIterally 0 rageblade user is above 51% winrate and Kai'sa is the only one with a high pick/ban rate. You gave no explaination, just stated an opinion with nothing to back it up.

item 3124 Has nothing to do with Kai Sa imo. It has more to do with MasterYi .

P.S. the item is NOT nerfed. it went up to about 4-8 times the on hit damage, boosted AP/AD far more than the AP/AD it lost on its base, and became a shortcut for Melees to friggin charge it almost instantaneously.

It's been worth far more than what they have been charging for it.

melees got a melee clause because it sucked on melees

yi is at a 46% winrate in diamond+....

As he should be. A feed or famine champ design is outdated. And at that elo, I sure hope people are smart enough to play in a way that denies Yi what he needs to get fed.

There's really nothing that stops him other than a VERY early game full team press on his jungle.

That doesn't happen in Solo Queue.

You do realize that Yi full charges Guinsoo's in one Q, right? His Unique Passive integrates with Guinsoos to give him 2-3 stacks of guinsoo's per on hit. That's not just a clause. That's 6 times as effective as ranged.

Yasuo also has a low win rate. But guess what? THAT'S BECAUSE THEY GET SO DAMNED MUCH PLAY. It is NOT because they aren't OP. It's because their stats get wrecked by players who use them poorly, or build a team with the explicit purpose of shutting them down. First pick Yi's get counter bullied. Last pick Yis have a free game.

And if a game goes long enough to get both item 3124 AND item 3508 , the game is over. Yi isn't on the ground long enough to counter once he has both.

That's why Yi's lose some more at high elo. Because they don't get to the second item purchase. That's not "balanced." That's a must fulfill requirement or lose.

P.S. Atm Yi is 48.7% in diamond. His win rate by Yi MAINS is 60.2% in Diamond.

Champion.GG doesn't track Diamond +, and they have Plat + at 51.11%.

Op.GG has him at 49.88%

ALL of his three item completion builds are scoring over a 60% win rate.

If he can farm, his win rate is not reflected in the aggregate.

How does Yi charge Rageblade at all during his Q? It isn't a basic attack.

Yi's winrate is 46% according to League of Graphs in Diamond+, and global diamond+ is better than Plat+ in Korea.

It's not the Q itself that sets up Guinsoo's. It's the mechanic of how it interacts with CHAMPIONS:

If the primary target is a champion, Master Yi will auto attack that champion when Alpha Strike finishes, but he cannot buffer Highlander or Wuju Style.

In other words, Q is an auto attack reset that assigns an auto attack to champions when champions are the primary target. That Auto attack takes no time to activate.

When targetting minions, this auto attack does not happen, and is not part of the skill.

Except that Kai'sa is getting her nerfs right alongside rageblade.

At least get the facts right.

doubling up on nerfs for kai'sa

but they didn't want to nerf cho'gath because they nerfed stoneplate?

Rageblade is a bad item, its stacks just give too much value. It goes from 74% to 130% gold efficient on an item that costs 3300 gold. That's not healthy.

AirKingNeo1 votes

hybrid items have to be more gold efficient than normal items due to either a user who doesn't use either AP or AD doesn't get value out of that stat, while hybrid users don't get full effectiveness from AP or AD< but at least get some effectiveness.

Yi gets full benefit from the AD, but nothing from the AP, so the item is already less gold efficient for him.

Kayle gets medium-good benefit from the AP but a bad benefit from the AD, so being more gold efficient offsets the fact she uses each stat less effectively than 100%.
